Assuming you are using Lux and using Particle Patch for ENB which could address this issue, I have looked into a reason that causes these bright glowing auras around spells and haven’t found an exact reason so far.
this turns everyone's skin into mustard, I've tried out so many enb's, and they all seem to look great in one area, but horrible in another. the only one I keep going back to is Rudy.
I'm getting loads of grain, blocky shadows and blocky orange lighting (projected from light sources) in interiors. I've played around with all the settings i can think of in the ENB, to no avail.
The grain is a byproduct of the SSAO/IL effects, and to remove that you would need to increase the resolution scale in enbseries.ini. Doing so would tank your fps dramatically though. I’m not sure what you mean by “blocky shadows,” as if you mean shadows that look low-res, then that’s a SkrimPrefs.ini issue.
Hey, I know in your 'known issues' section you address the white candles indoors, however my candlehorns are doing the same thing. In your screenshots the candlehorns look fine, but mine are pure white. I've gone through the settings briefly and tried adjusting things to fix the issue, but no luck. Any ideas?
I'd love to try this, but Obsidian is a bit dated, and DrJacopo mentions that Azurite is technically superior to all of his preceding weather mods, including Obsidian, he mentions all of this on his Azurite Weathers page.
Cathedral Weathers MCM has Sombre and Bleak settings, and other adjustments, so at times it can be quite indistinguishable from Obsidian.
Here's a screen shot of Cathedral Weathers MCM, for those that haven't seen it before. Weather - Climate has Normal & Sombre and then World View with Bleak, and of course you can change the other settings around, making it more ominous and atmospheric.
What originally drew me to Cathedral Weathers years ago, I think is something to really consider, Sheson of DynDOLOD uses and recommends it. While everyone has their own personal preferences, you have to wonder about this, if Sheson uses and recommends Cathedral, there must be something valid about this.
But of course, as DrJacopo mentions, Azurite is technically superior to all the others, I plan to migrate to it. It's just that we need ENBs to catch up to it, which there aren't many good ones at the moment.
I hope you will release an Azurite and Cathedral Weathers version.
Does it look and function better with Cathedral? Obsidian keeps forcing weather back, even though I forced in console so the game won't always look so dark.
looks great! i really like it, how it feels dark, but not too dark, it makes colors pop so brilliantly with a realistic fantasy theme I was looking for <3
I was curious, does it require Lux Via? The Lux mod requires Lux Via, but I genuinely can't tell if I'm to get Lux Via or just the resource pack from Lux Via?
Probably a dumb question,. When opening a book there is no light in the menu. Books are dark. I can only read them during the day somewhat. Anyone know what setting I would need to change for that?
I had same issue. You need go into enblocal or enbseries ini and make the ENB not be enabled in UI or inventory. I forgot the exact command, but you gotta disable the ENB for UI/inventory.

The screen shots look really nice.

I'm using Cathedral Weathers and Seasons at the moment, because DrJacopo just released an update to it on 18 Jun 2023.

Keep up the great work!
do you have any gameplay screenshots?
