This mod is one of my favourites on the nexus for real. If anyone is looking for maximum immersion for a Nemesis setup use this mod (3rd person animations in the FOMOD) then Disable Turn Animation SE I AE at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) so you don't get jerky movements. Pick good looking 3rd person animations from whichever mods you like and it feels like playing VR without a headset lol. Just tweak the combat options from the in-game sliders if you have any clipping with shields ect, maybe play with head-bobbing settings if you need and you are golden. HUGE thanks to you dann1c and the improved camera guys!
Doesn't work, but it can be fixed manually. Got these solutions from TheAutisticee and foo777 deeper down in the comments.
First, go into the dann1.ini file in this mod and under the section [NEARDISTANCE] put this line: fFirstPersonDefault=15.000000
Then go into the ImprovedCameraSE.ini file in this mod, and change the number next to "Max Version", set it to your Skyrim version number, the latest on Steam being: 1.6.1170
Hello, i don't want to be a burden but i did everything as you guys wrote, but now i can see my hands in first person ( when i put the dukes up) and everything works fine but when i try to use a weapon in my main right hand i cant see my weapons, but if i switch to my hand (only the right one) i can see the other weapon (in my case a torch) on the left plus the hand on the right. So im barely there XD. I am using the combat gameplay overhaul mod and the comprehensive first person animation overhaul. Thanks either way!
If anyone has the problem where it says Improved Camera v1.1.0: Invalid Profile dann1.ini, just add this line in the [NEARDISTANCE] section of the dann1.ini: fFirstPersonDefault=15.000000
I did this, the error was resolve but I still get an kitloader error about improvedcamera.dll reported as being incompatible during load. update: got it working, changed the version name manually in the mods improvecamera.ini - thanks to a from foo77's comment here.
Yes AnonTres, press Shift+Home, click on View, then General, then disable the First Person Overhaul setting. Once you're done, press Escape to get out of the Improved Camera GUI and play your game!
You should be able to go into the GUI, view - events and disable scripted. That works for me when sleeping on a bedroll anyway. Are you not able to just zoom out to 3rd person from the first person view when in a bed?
If someone has the same error ".dll" go to the INI Tweaks folder and in the file "ImprovedCameraSE" find the line "FileVersionMax" and replace the value with the latest version of Skyrim (currently 1.6.1179.0)

Edit: and consider using Improved Camera Arrow Bug Fix at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) or you will get a crazy visual bug if you get shot with arrows.
First, go into the dann1.ini file in this mod and under the section [NEARDISTANCE] put this line:
fFirstPersonDefault=15.000000
Then go into the ImprovedCameraSE.ini file in this mod, and change the number next to "Max Version", set it to your Skyrim version number, the latest on Steam being:
1.6.1170
Sticky this.
fFirstPersonDefault=15.000000
From there View then Near Distance to open the window with the sliders.
You sorta have to test and check to get things right but once it's dialed in it's pretty much perfect.
is this intended behaviour?
Is there a way to make the sleep in bed animation to 3rd person ?
