Version 2.3 Released! - Tweaked formlists so vampire clothes/armor should be applied properly; especially on Nightlord Vampires - Edited the "Original Outfits" patch so it's formlists for armor will be consistently applied.

Probably best to use a new version on a new save.
If updating mid-playthrough: - Go to a secluded interior with a bed. - Make a new save - Exit game - Remove old version of BVNPCs - Install new version of BVNPCs - Load save from above - Sleep for 30 days to ensure every cell resets or use console command: setpcsleephours 720 We need the cells to be reset. However ... you could just delete the old, and then install the new, but you won't see vampire changes unless you enter an area you haven't been to before or a cell resets normally (you don't visit it for 30 in game days).
NOTE: Vampires in this mod are leveled. The leveled lists have had the level numbers altered, but they still spawn depending on the character level. HOWEVER ... some vampires in Skyrim are not placed as a leveled actor. Some NPCs are placed as a specific level that is not reflective of your level. I did not do this - that is from the vanilla game.
Apologies in advance if I missed reading the information I am looking for.
Does this mod add its own form of vampirism? I was infected by NPC and became a vampire. But, I could not stop the infection prior with cure diseases potions. Once it took root, I was unable to cure it even with console commands. While I have all the perks and penalties, the game doesn't recognize me as a vampire. I can't trigger Falion's cure either.
Any suggestions on how to remedy this? I love this mod btw though; awesome work!
I also have this problem, I became a vampire when I went to Soul Cairn and after that Falion conducts a ritual, but I remain a vampire. Change Appearance Spell (Limited ShowRaceMenu) mod also does not work, although worked when I was an Imperial
hello Brehanin there seems to be a problem with my BVNPC.I am playing on xbox and i never had this problem before with your mod but i dont get the blood gem when i start the game and vampires dont drop bloodgems and if i craft one and crouch is still doesnt let me modified it it just says this item cannot be equipt like it does for a normal misc item. This happend after this last update so i was wondering did something break for xbox on this mod or is it a bug or am i the only one having this problem right now?
and Also custom robes added by this mod that look like archmage robes just with vampire markings on it makes enemies invisible just a flying face and arms body is see thru also when i equip it its also see thru
I am currently having the same issue on Xbox with the missing blood gems. Also, when I entered Broken Fang Cave at level 4, I encountered a Vampire Nightstalker boss. It was quite the jump scare. Said boss was also just a floating head, hands, and feet with an invisible body, which certainly added to the jump scare.
I Also had exact vampire bosss in that cave and also floating head and everything .And i have problem with Houses in coldhaven also but i wrote that on coldhaven mod page
Also no blood gem. Do not have invisible npc's as all my beauty mods are below this mod (including cosmetic vampires), but then again I have not seen the archmage robe type of armor yet. Will do some more testing.
It might be a formlist issue. Trying to give them clothes that cannot fit their race. Are you using the patch so Vampires will have regular vampire outfits? That may be the problem.
The idea of this mod is cool. I downloaded this mod mostly because I wanted to have more variety of fighting styles for vampires instead of all of them being one handed spellblades, but that being said, this mod just make all the vampires wayyy too overpowered!!! Like for an instance, I'm playing at legendary dificulty and my character is at level 31 now and a vampire fledging can drain my HP faster than I can cause damage to him and there's also a vampire mistwalker in haemars shame that can one hit kill me everytime! I hope the mod author don't take my comment badly, I'm only saying this because sometimes this mod just make it impossible to beat vampires without cheating.
I don't play on legendary, but I cannot imagine things being that bad? Do you have some mod that alters NPCs and their difficulties or their level distributions?
I turn off their bat cloak spell and the blood glass weapons extra effects, now it's more manageable.tbh legendary difficulty is just supposed to be this hard I think, I was just frustrated after losing one hundred times to same enemies... Sorry about that!!!! 😂
First, thank you very much for all of your amazing wqork Brehanin. Second, I think I have a problem but I'm not quite sure; I've encountered a few Master+ vampires since installing the mod and although they carry powerful enchanted weapons they only cast spells. Even if they run out of mana or are mana drained by negative effects they'll just stand there waiting to attempt to cast spells again.
I am running this mod alongside Awakening, Sacrosanct, Cosmetic Vampire Overhaul, and Pandorables Dawnguard. I have my own xEdit patch to forward my preferred changes from each mod and I have all actor values including combat styles and classes forwarded through from your mod.
Hmmm Must be a combat style thing then. If I remember correctly, they should be set as spellsword type. I have noticed that the AI will often just choose whatever it thinks will do more damage. Were the Master level vampires casting spells besides drain? Maybe they have the mage combat style?
Sneak then activate bloodgem in your inventory: after -> Do you want Vampires to stop turning to ashpiles when they die? set BVNPCVampireTurnToAshGlobal to 0 (re-enable by setting to 1), maybe it helps))
I concur with some older comments. I wish there was a version of this without all the added items. I like the other changes you made but I am trying to restrict changes and additions to items. And "not using them" isn't a solution, not only do NPCs use them but they take up spawn slots that would otherwise be used for different equipment.

It's my first try ever in that engine. https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance2/mods/1552
Please remember that there is a lot that we do not know how to do yet, or might not be able to do ...

or am i the only one having this problem right now?
I cannot see that with my SE-AE version here on PC.
Can anyone else please confirm this issue?
There must be some error with a texture or a nif file? That is what can cause invisible body parts ...

I will look at one with original weapons too.
