Recent versions of OCS have lower-case file names due to concerns about compatibility with Steam Deck and other Linux systems, which are case-sensitive. I found that these new versions are incompatible with this mod, but that the fix was easy. I just changed a few file names to lower case: namely, the translation file and the Open Cities Skyrim folder under the MCM folder. I also changed the first line of the json file so "Open Cities Skyrim" became "open cities skyrim." I suspect not all of these changes were necessary, but they didn't hurt anything, and I'm not inclined to experiment further. I'd try just changing the translation file name and see if that works.

I'm curious if this is a problem everyone has, or just Linux users like myself.
