I had a strange bug yesterday, all the decor items vanished from the shelves (the default ones that came with the house). I came in through the door in the kitchen and instantly noticed empty shelves. Only my items remained. The shelves in the lab are also empty. Loading old saves didn't help, the bug persisted. The only thing I ever changed was markfordelete the fish on the porch cuz they clipped through the bucket and made noise. But it was weeks ago, and deleting a couple of items outside couldn't have affected the whole house?
Funny thing is, it was the first time in probably years that I left Brynjolf to wait at home. Wanted to do the Companions on my own and marry Farkas. Came home for a weapon for Farkas and it looked like Bryn had stolen everything :D
Is this a known bug or is my save getting wonky? Asking cuz I also got the arcane blacksmith bug suddenly, and the day before Brynjolf walked into the garden and stripped naked all of a sudden... Feels like my game is haunted.
Hi all, for what it is worth; I found something regarding the "rain bug": Mods like "Diziet's Player Home Bath Undressing" (which many are using in mods like Riverside Lodge Follower Edition because of the extensive pools) replicate the weather conditions and in this case the exterior weather!! So you have to change the weather in Diziet's .esp for Riverside Lodge with SSEEdit or deactivate the mod!
This is and always will be the best player home. It balances space with convenience. You don't feel cramped, but you don't have to run all over the place to get to the things you like. And it is a gorgeous location. I will never not have this player home and it will always be my main base. For me, this IS home in Skyrim.
This makes a very bland location much better. However, the Aspen trees look really out of place in this area. Is there a patch somewhere to swap them for pines?
I am using Greenland and thanks to the Nature of the Wildlands Patch by Lackryhmo my Bosmer got herself a nice new practical and still cozy home, just as she likes it. Thank You !
But now I have an issue. I have the house key in my inventory, but none of the doors will unlock for me! I even installed the patch to buy it and got the key that way too, still wouldn't unlock for me. What should I do? I don't want to give up this awesome lodge because I can't get into it!
EDIT: Finally got in using console controls. Get close to the door, hit the ~key, select the door, then type "unlock", then hit enter and then the ~key again to close the console window. Door will be open!
I paid for the home but there's no key. I can't get in. I assumed I'd receive a key when I paid for it, like other homes. There's no chest on the porch to contain a key. I'm a little pissed to have paid and not have anything,
This is an incredible build, I love it, and I was amazed by it all. The only issue is that it's so OP. So I've decided to keep it but I'm not going to take anything, it's all decoration. I could deck out on the best gear, get tonnes of septim based on the items in the house.... Alas, I will not. I will simply admire the views and deck out the armoury, then move on to the next piece of my property empire in Skyrim. I practically own the river from Falkreath down to Whiterun! Millwater, Riverfall Cottage just upstream (literally next door), down to Tundra Homestead and the winery and Restaurant in the valley
If you read the description, it tells you, yes it can , but you have to enable the children's room first, the use bless home, from hearthfire mod! and then I think its only 2 beds.
Ah! I found the book that controls this place. Nice! I like how you have a few options. :) The moving manikins were a bit of a scare but I think that I can get used to them. Just so long as they don't attack me or worse. Run off with my armor. lol Glad to see that I can keep three kids here if I want to. This place is wonderful, I can tell that you spent time working on this one. Also like how the followers strip down for the water, They seem more relaxed in the water and is more immersive. I did find a few bugs. I can see though part of the rock wall on the lowest level. Also, there seems to be some overwritten text in the book that controls some of the options of this place.
