Hi, it works if I launch the game through steam but skse is not use, the game go in full screen, but if i launch from skse it doesn't work, stay in windows bordeless🤔skse seems to be the pb.
Edit : got the issue, it's a plugin SSEDisplayTweaks... doing bordeless.
I have this issue occasionally where when I alt-tab out of Skyrim and then alt-tab back in, my monitor only displays the top-left corner of the screen, suggesting a resolution-related error (as I don't run it in native res). Will this mod fix that issue, or should I look for another mod? Apologies if this is absolutely not the right place to be asking this question.
Typically a problem with windows desktop scaling on a lot of games on launch or ALT Tabbing, there are mods like Display tweaks that I would recommend anyway used with Engine fixes and of cause you will need all the prerequisite mods and an up to date game as with this mod.
This mod give it a go see how it goes no harm, I run the game in windowed mode as it will just bounce back when you let go of the keys, and of cause read the descriptions for each mod and compatibility which is just a few tweaks. : )
I'm sure this is what happened to me when I got my new PC, I was like wtf my resolution is set correctly everywhere. But yes it's windows DPI. It's manually fixed by going into exe properties > change high dpi settings> Check Program DPI > Check Orride and put on "Application".
try check all the mods that affect resolution for skyrim if you have them. Bethini, display tweaks, and windows its self. And you what is says on this mod main page its what i wrote but pictured.
In case it helps anyone , the "Change high DPI settings" button is under the "Compatibility" tab. Also make sure you are changing this override in the right SkyrimSE.exe file. If you are using a WJ modlist which uses the Stock Game / Game Root setup, then it's SkyrimSE.exe in the relevant folder that needs to be changed. Might be obvious to most, but I've been tripped up by this before.
If your Main Menu looks as you expect it to, then you are not affected.
If you had the issue then it (the Main Menu) would appear to be so zoomed in you can literally only see the top left quarter. Depending on what MM design you are using, you might not be able to see the actual menu options at all, and have to use the console to quit your game and then go and fix the scaling.
My Skyrim has never used my whole screen. There's always approximately an inch at the right and half an inch at the bottom (above the tabs bar) that Skyrim doesn't cover. I have had no idea how to fix this, so I've just lived with the problem.
I just tried the DPI Scaling Fix mod. When I then ran Skyrim for the 2nd time, the situation did change. But Skyrim now uses significantly _less_ of the screen, instead of more! What am I not doing? Or what am I doing wrong? Or is there a different way for me to get Skyrim to use the whole screen?
I have two screens connected, and Skyrim (and most of my work) happens on the larger one, which Display calls #1. According to Display, the recommended display resolution is 2560 x 1440. (I don't know if that's correct, but it's what Settings --> Display says.)
You can get flip model (better latency, hdr, vrr) in windowed mode by using Windows 11's optimizations, SpecialK, or the Display Tweaks mod. By using FSE you'd only make Alt-Tab incredibly slow, read here
Exclusive Fullscreen really is irritating but I need it for NIS when I use it and per its requirements, that Detection Meter mod. Alt+Tabbing is hell now lol.

Still haven't figured it out.
It has something to do with how MO2 opens Skyrim. Opening Skyrim normally gives me a full screen but no mods.
Now i have a fullscreen.
Sheesh...

How does Skyrim VR benefit from this?
Still didn't change anything....
