Hello. As the inbox of nexus is still weird, probably high chance to be left unread. I'm asking permission to modify this mod's files to add annotation for cleaning or resetting physics smp/outift/hair from this mod. So, after the user press block/parry button with this animation, the smp of hair/cloth that stuck will be reset.
Sorry for the late reply, but feel free to do whatever you want with the animation files. They're not exactly mine to begin with, they're the vanilla torch blocking animations.
Thank you, really appreciate it. I'll re-testing again. I hope it's not straining / making combat unresponsive by including this annotation into the animation.
why not just make it block when you press the block button? it makes the game less clunky and more enjoyable instead of the opposite. as it is now, it just makes the game.... frustrating.
The attack canceling doesn't work. Tested on a new game and removed all mods except Skyui, unofficial patch, alternate start and wasn't able to instant block in game.
I just wanted to leave a comment here saying I tried Attack Cancelling and it works just fine (even with SkyUI, Unofficial Patch, etc), as soon as you press R key it cancels the attack.
This mod was the only one that worked for me. but please, update to allow us to choose the action button, as it removed the option to keep the swords in the holster

Since it's release, personal porting of Dual Wield Blocking from Oldrim has been made possible, and this mod is now obsolete.
I would suggest taking a loot at https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16334

This mod is for spellswords and dual wielders, who are alreasy using their left hand button for something else.
Can you add a dodge to this mod?
I already tried using it with a dodge mod but it didn’t work
