EDIT EDIT: v1.1.1 is up. Please let me know if there's any issues.
v1.1.0 is up!
Added vaulting animations over fences and similarly shaped objects Added MCM: rebind climb hotkey, toggle vaulting and ledge-climbing Bug fixes: climbing indicator should no longer appear on weird objects. Just things like buildings, rocks, terrain, and similar.
07 I do not know if I am dumb... I used the newest patch of the mod and it crashed my game when using Alternative start when I make a new save. So I deleted the mod and installed the previous version, but it has the same issue. I ran the Nemesis engine again and created folder for the Overwrite files etc, but I can not fix it. Is this an issue with my newest game version or with my mod setup? Thank you for your time.
I dunno if I'm just being dumb or not, but the animation plays from EVG, the climb starts, but then it stutters back a distance and nothing happens except an animation played. Should I press the climb button and essentially let go of controls to let it play? Because it still stutters back a meter before playing the animation and I'm still not elevated to a higher plane of existence.
Hello, the tag climbing function is running normally. Thank you for creating the mod that adds more immersive gameplay to the game. I am using the Immersive HUD - iHUD Special Edition module, and the crosshair disappears when it is not interactive. I found that when the SkyClimb module is marked, the screen crosshair keeps flashing. Is there any way to fix it?
Thank you so much, just diagnosed the problem as being Skyclimb but probably would have spent another 3 hours trying to figure out the incompatibility. Hope it gets fixed soon (no rush though:3)
There is no fix, because there is no crash with HDT SMP, when you see HDT in your crashlog its mostly not the crash reason, because 99% of all time there is HDT in the crashlog when you have animation based crashes, HDT is loaded first, thats why it is always there. The most reason for crashes are Bodyphysic, false loadorder and corrupt physic XMLs, make sure you have loaded any Bodymod with Physic XML after HDT, install all required mods, check you loadorder again, and make sure you have run Pandora/Nemesis properly.
Next uninstall SKYCLIMB and install SkyParkour v2 - Procedural Parkour Framework (SPPF) at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community, it has all build in, its a common LIB SKSE (Compatible with all game versions) and many improvements.
If you are having trouble with this mod, here is what I did and worked for me:
For Skyrim Anniversary Edition, 1.6.1170.0.
1. Install SkyClimb (the newest version) and its dependencies; 2. install the 1.6.1130+ fix (the newest version) and its dependencies; 3. Make sure the fix is AFTER SkyClimb; 4. Enjoy it.
======
If you want to add Skyparkur as well:
1. Do 1. and 2. from the previous list; 2. Install skyparkur (the newest version) and its dependencies; 3. I put it after SkyClimb and the fix, but you can test a different way to see what happens. 4. Enjoy it.
I cannot guarantee it's going to work, but it's perfect to me now.
I know there are many more comments/bug reports like this but I still am going to add to it even though it might not have any usable information unfortunately:
Worked like a charm for the longest time (really good and enjoyable!) but after a while it simply stopped. Not even my character standing still or anything just no detection of ledges at all. I think it happened about somewhere around level 16 from a new character I made. Not sure if that helps. Also I have disabled and enabled a number of mods with this playthrough again. I know, bad practice however, it's just a test character anyways so that's fine. I'll see if disabling and enabling the mod does something or loading it lower.
Mod keeps breaking. It works for a while after installing, then at some point it just stops working, character freezes up for a couple seconds and that's it...
i keep auto climbing everything which is REALLY inconvenient, especially in Broken Oar Grotto because I kept getting stuck in the rafters and bugging out. Had to turn off vaulting and ledge climbing in the mcm to navigate the cave, so basically temporarily disable the mod
