Why the esp name change? We can't change esp name midgame I think.

Sorry for that. See it as a new mod instead of update.
I had to do the name change because users wouldn't think it was only compatible with Atmos or DTS-X codecs.

If download it and rename plugin to original name it will be fine. No savefile will be destroyed.

if you don't have a 5 (or 7) channels sound system (like me at the moment, sadly) don't use it. I used for a while and noticed that with both headset and my little quadriphonic system (4 channels) the sound was disappearing (or lowered) from some directions , when the sound was supposed to go to central speaker or some other channel that I have no speaker for. So I guess this mod is only for people that have the speakers for it.

Hi ToosTruus. I saw your screenshots on the description page showing that you have Dolby Atmos turned on. Can you hear the sound coming from behind you when you are gaming? I have a Samsung Q990C and I can only hear it in 5.1 mode and the transition between left, center and right sounds is unnatural.

I'm trying to find a way to get Skyrim to come across in 5.1 through steam link.  I was hoping this might help but can't seem to get it to work.

I stream the game from my PC to my TV using Steam Link.  On my TV the sound is only in stereo not 5.1.

Yes, I have everything hooked up to my receiver that supports 5.1.  I have a whole sound system setup with all other game systems and TV running surround perfectly.

How is the compatibility with Reverb and Ambiance Overhaul? I'm loving the way the Audio Enhancer sounds (even without using proper surround sound), but I can't bear to give up RAO. It seems like both mods are doing certain things better than the other.

I'm actually on Xbox, unfortunately. My PC install had kicked the bucket and I hadn't the willpower to start all of that over again, so I went back to my Xbox version. If you or someone else can port it over, I'd be happy to test it!

      @toostruus

What sort of conflicts are there, anyway? I'd check myself in xEdit but obviously I no longer have Skyrim installed.

      Hi,
I've tried out both versions of this and the original is by far the better version.  I'll try out merging both the old and new for AOS etc. effects.  I have been looking for something like this.  Having surround sound in Skyrim completely changes the game.  This is the kind of stuff that's keeping this old Bethesda game alive.
      Muchos gracias,

I agree that original is best. That is also why i added it back to download.
But i know someone who doesn't agree with this and even said it was better to take down.
That is why i took it down in first place (silly me). But original is there to download.

And thanks for the kind words

1.2 has no patches for Audio Overhaul and Regional Sounds Expansion anymore. Is it good to update even if I have those two installed?

      Not being helpfull?

I added the old version back for you to download.
If you read the description you can read that new version is using vanilla values. Old ones are buffed up. Not needed.
AOS patches deleted cause i don't want to touch AOS anymore. Leaving AOS as intended by original author.

Again, use the old version when desired.
