im having an issue where i've bought hendra but the steward wont let me buy anything else for the house (i.e. the steward, servants etc) do i need to be thane in markarth for that or am i experiencing a different issue?
You can't buy anything more for Hendraheim at the steward of Markarth. You can upgrade Hendraheim, like in the Hearthfire DLC:
Get a personal steward for Hendraheim. The link has a list of NPCs that are eligible for this, if their prerequisites are met. If your personal steward for Hendraheim has been assigned, you talk to them for several upgrades. In addition, there's a workbench to the side of Hendraheim, that lets you craft other several upgrades.
I'm trying to troubleshoot why the quest marker just hovers over the dead warriors body and the next stage (80) is not set, can you tell me what event triggers the cmpletion of objective 40 and the setting of stage 80 as you have removed the defaultaliasondeathscript from the warrior referencealias please? I have this mod and the homes under the hammer - hendraheim plus your patch for that.
Just to follow up, turns out a VIS patch I was using that had edited the note, had forwarded the wrong info, an easy fix and I should have thought of that first:)
I haven't been able to get the quest to activate no matter what I do. I've tried killing Eydvina Shield-Hearth, console commands, and creating a new game to see if I can activate it. Do you know of a way to force start the quest or the if spawning in the deed and house key will do the same thing as actually doing the quest.
First off thank you for responding. I play with the Lorerim mod pack so there are a lot of mods, but the location has all of the physical changes that you've added. Ive also used the command sqv to make sure the quest is actually in the game and it is, but I haven't been able to get it started.
In that case, I'd recommend you to ask the author of LoreRim. I'm not sure what changes/patches are in it that affect my mod. They might be able to offer you some better support.
I figured out what the problem was and I thought I'd share in case anyone else comes across this issue. If you are also using the mod Creation Club Home Requirements do not download the optional file "CCHR - CC Hendraheim TnE Patch" as it wont allow you start the quest. Once I disabled that mod as soon as I loaded in the courier gave me the note to start the quest.
That's the point. This feature is to dismiss your followers and have them go to Hendraheim instead, so if you want to change followers, you can easily find them, to recruit them at Hendraheim.
is there a version that just has the 2nd and 3rd floors removed?
Great mod, like how you get to the house and have to buold it up also finally a spot for all my followers. Im playing with the fahluaan modpack and i dont know if it comes from there or your mod but i regularly got dead stormcloaks in the ground before the entrance door. nothing too bad but skill quiet random lol
First off, thanks a lot for this mod, always wanted Hendra to be a follower home, not a display, very happy, thank you.
Ive installed this on a current save, after getting ownership of the house, and was actually fiddeling manually with the furniture to rehome my followers when i found you. The problem i face is similar to someone’s post some pages back, in that i lost at least partial ownership to the house. I can still add a steward and make followers stay in Hendra, but all the beds are owned and all clutter prompts a steal, not a take. Ive fiddled before with Drela’s cottage setting the ownership of the cell to me, wondering if i can do the same here? I just need the id of the cell, is that possible please? Ive done the quest stage advice, nothing happens, since ive already killed the npc before. Thanks
edit: ive used the id from the uesp and it worked, but only for inside. The stable, what was the crafting area, and the chest/sacks/hanging fish are all set to steal. Also there is no workbench ;;
You'll have issues in that case, as you saw. I recommend a clean save method to reset the mod and CC Hendraheim entirely:
1. Make a backup save, in case things go awry. (make sure you're in an interior, that is NOT Hendraheim.) 2. Exit the game. 3. Uninstall both the CC Hendraheim plugin (cceejsse004-hall.esl) AND my mod's plugin (Hendraheim - Tweaks and Enhancements.esp) and any other relevant patches. 4. Go back in game with both the CC Hendraheim plugin (cceejsse004-hall.esl) AND mymod's plugin (Hendraheim - Tweaks and Enhancements.esp) AND the patches uninstalled. 5. Make a save. 6. Exit game. 7. Clean the save you made in step 5, using Fallrim Tools. (If uncertain how, please look up some guides.) 8. Go back in game and load the cleaned save. 9. Wait about a minute for the scripts to properly update. 10. Make another save. 11. Exit the game. 12. Reinstall CC Hendraheim plugin (cceejsse004-hall.esl) AND my mod's plugin (Hendraheim - Tweaks and Enhancements.esp) and the patches. 13. Load the save made in step 10. 14. Profit? If everything is well, you'll be able to redo the quest from scratch and proceed the way you should have.
Im so happy ;; i shed a tear. It worked! I just got the letter from the courier and Hendraheim has started. Thank you so much! The workbench is also there. Thank you very much for your patience and kindness!
