Is there a way to make the whites not so bright? I'm using Snoblind, and it is way too bright (clouds are too bright too). Help would be much appreciated 🙏

MO2 says this has no valid data, and the installation instructions are so vague. What's with so many mods having no detailed instructions?

If anyone wants to solve the lighting change when looking up and down here is the solution:
    - Open KreatE
    - Under Preset double click on "Amethyst (for Obsidian)" to enable it
    - Open ImageSpace
    - Under Managed ImageSpace you should see four different ImageSpaces, right click on the first one and click "Open"
    - Change "Eye Adapt Speed" to 0.000 (Minimum)
    - Change "Eye Adapt Strength" to 50.000 (Maximum)
    - Repeat for all the four different ImageSpaces
    - Done!

"Extract and copy the presets into your Reshade presets folder" - meaning in Amethyst folder of Vortex installation?!

Idk if I’m supposed to be using the reshade+kreate presets, but it looks fantastic with both. It’s really close to a good ENB without the performance costs. But, without vanilla HDR, anything other than sunny weather is washed out. Has anyone found a good work around? Is there a reshade effect that I can toggle that will at least sort of emulate the HDR?

It's called eye adaption and is built in to Skyrim. There is no proper way to get rid of it. I feel your pain. Once you notice it you can't unsee it.

Sounds like Luminosity Lighting Overhail, it reverts eye adaptation, which is stupid. You can switch it for Ambience.

Eye adaptation comes from Vanilla HDR and the Reshade preset, so it's really noticeable when both of them are in action. I've already disabled vanilla adaptation in KreatE. I'm experimenting with VHDR adaptation settings, but the main problem currently is that nights and interiors can become too dark.

wel I found out today that the community shaders settings ui doesn't come up when you have reshade install so you can't even change any of the settings in community shaders.
I was going to ask question where do you load the preset I read the description but to download reshade and having community shaders settings disabled no thank you

Reshade menu comes up for me. Reshade is mapped to an entirely different button the CS.

Can someone kindly dumb the installation process down for me? It makes absolutely no sense.

    KreatE preset

    • Install the KreatE preset with a mod manager as you would any other mod.

    • While in-game, open the KreatE menu (END key by default) and select Amethyst.

    Reshade preset

    • Extract and copy the presets into your Reshade presets folder.

Reshade is only if using Reshade
Download KreatE and all its requirements, then download the KreatE version of this preset, once in game hit the (END) Key and enable the preset under settings
