As it says in the description, you extract the files from the zip folder with either mod, you drag it and drop it in the Splinter Cell Blacklist game directory. If you dunno where that is, you can easily find it by right-clicking the game on steam > manage > browse local files ; it will take you straight to the game directory.
Hi, thank you so much for this mod I've been having a blast, makes the game feel more like a classic SP title. However, I was messing with the files and somehow made it so holding the d-pad up no longer changes between vision modes. Could you tell me which file and line can I find it to enable it again? I downloaded the Chaos Theory version.
You COULD install the 2.6 version, the only version that has the actionscheme intact...But I archived it...Because I thought I had it transfered to the latest version...Sorry... :c
Is the mod compatable with ikennyagain BLUR Fusion mod pack or simply the standalone Fusion Mod on its own? I really want the dark shadows, but there is stuff in those mids I want as well, in particular the holstering of weapons for empty hands.

Hello there! I love all the additions of this mod - one thing I did notice is after installing this, enemy awareness arrows started popping up again. Since you are trying to go for maximum realism I am guessing you don't know you can actually disable those arrows all together for enemies. Here is how you do it -
Download hex editor, open whatever exe you use with your splinter cell blacklist with hex editor - to do this open hex editor, press file then press open and find your splinter cell exe - if you use dx11 open that one, if you don't open the regular. find the line HudDetection.... Change it to audDetection - place your cursor in front of the H in Hud, and type a. That is it - it should say audDetection now, then press save in the upper left in the hex editor, exit out. Now you will no longer have the arrows from enemies seeing you all over your screen.
For those who, after installing the mod, the game started to crash: install everything as before but without replacing the exe files of the game. Most likely some functions will not work, but in general the main functions will still work. If anyone knows how to fix a crash with exe files of this mod with replacing these files, write an answer plz.
The mod is cool but it becomes much more difficult to play, especially on the difficulty level"realistic"
For which version? Because there's 2 versions of my mod, one's the basic version (Chaos Theory) That is just a bunch of INI files, and another is my variation of Kenny's BLUR mod (BLURed Chaos).
Yeah, that feature no longer exists in the latest version, and the only version that has that, is archived...I didn't know that feature didn't transfer until I reinstalled the mod myself.
Not sure if this is unrelated or not,,, but earlier I can't change my vision mode (only night vision even though I have also chose other mode in my loadout). Then I found a solution, so perhaps you can try this also:
Go to your existing loadout, and make sure that VISION MODE is the first gadget you select.
To do this, uncheck all of your gadgets (resetting them), then choose VISION MODE as your first gadget (this is important). After that, you can select your other gadgets.

You would have to look into Balaclava and gameplay tweaks's files to have the Night Vision swap mechanic...

Do this every time you create a new loadout
