If any of you encounter problems with snow and sand artifacts, I highly recommend my final version that I added in the optional files. It is better tuned for those. I've added screenshots for those of you who want to compare
By chance has anyone lost controller support after installing ?
The game no longer seems to auto-recongize my gamepad. I did have to rename the dxgi.dll to d3d11.dll to get the game to not crash on start up. Could this have affected it?
Other than this issue, this is a wonderful mod. I love playing with all of the settings to create different looks for the game. Great work!
I want to leave an appreciation post here because this mod is so amazing. Honestly one of the best reshades of all time. I've been turning it on and off in every level to see all the differences and it makes me so happy/sad every time because this looks sooooo much better than vanilla and I feel bad for everybody not using this mod. I can't believe how much this improves the way literally everything looks, truly mind-boggling this mod is perfect. This is exactly how Toys for Bob should've made it look. Like most graphics mods, it's embarrassing because it really shows how the devs were rushed and didn't have the time to perfect things like this. I did turn off MSAA, MXAO and ReflectiveBumpmapping because those totally destroyed the framerate, and I wish I didn't have to because the MXAO does make it look waaaay better, but the mod is still well worth it even without that because with everything else enabled still makes a HUGE difference. Phenomenal mod, great job!
EDIT: Also I wanna say that I've been using the regular spyro.ini instead of the final.ini because I think the first one looks way better even in snowy/desert levels. To me the brightness and colors are off in the final, but perfect in the original.
I found an issue that, for some reason, after changing the ingame graphics settings, my fps dropped from 60 to below 20, only changing the game from fullscreen to borderless, I don't know if this is an issue with the mod or the game itself
someone said to reinstall, if it doesn't work beyond that I have no idea. Also if the reshade window doesn't show up at any point, it usually means that you've installed the reshade in the wrong directory
Question. I'm new to mods in general how do i choose what ini file is ran? I dl the mod but it is not working. I think it because it's still running the default ini files. how do i make it run your edited one?
this is a great reshade, my FPS only drops from average 90 to 30 FPS 30 FPS is still playable on, although 60+ FPS would be nice oh well, nothing I can do to increase it

FPS 115 - 130 FPS (Reshade OFF)
FPS 45 - 60 FPS (Reshade ON)

edit: ok I got it settled. Had to reinstall and it's working now thank you. This mod is great. The look is so much better IMO many thanks
