Version 1.6 Its the moment to say BYE BYE Stutters with NPC
In this update finally i fixed the stutters with the npc, and i changed my approach to reduce the stutters, this update focus to reduce the time of rendering pipeline and to load the assets only once time, for me this should help to reduce the stutters in general.
Im waiting the next patch to fix the eyes white problem and red hot reflection in water (some users) Just be patient, if i update now maybe it dont work with next patch. So is better we all wait the next patch, should be in december.
Hey Tori, I've had this weird bug with your mod lately, the eyes of NPC's are glowing white and make em look crazy xD
It is funny af, but after a while u get really tired of it :P, and yes i did confirm it's from your mod, cause I removed only your mod and the problem was gone...
Gotta be somekind of Lumen setting/tweak that's causing this,no ?

PS: this is the normal version and not the Graphic one.
lol ahahahaha, i will give a look, happen always or is random? Your settings is all epic? Are you sure you didnt mix with other edits or other mod? Because it dont happen to me, i knew already in case.
Just thought I would mention that this glowing eye thing is also happening with your Graphic version. If you haven't experienced it yourself yet Tori, it only seems to happen in certain areas and mainly to Shop Keepers (for me anyway).
The last base i was at was Yaniv Station. The the shop keeper there looked like he had been possessed by the devil \nn/
I've been using your "non Graphic" version for a while now. The Graphic version dropped my fps lower than I liked, but then I'm playing it in 4k, whereas you have mentioned you play at 2k.
As much as I like this mod, the version I am using does very strange things to foliage. It often looks like my torch (flashlight) is on, as the plants directly in front of me, look constantly lit and shimmering. Have you disabled ambient occlusion and shadows?
As much as I like your mod and find it to be a lot better than other similar mods, it would be nice to be able to tweak them, mainly to make the foliage look less weird and distracting.
Cheers Toriga ;)
Oh, I also have the glowing firey eyes thing xD
I've just seen the following on your description:
Enabled async operation for all Enabled parallel operation for all Enabled different caches Improved performance for shaders Improved performance for fx Improved performance for vegetations Improved antialiasing Improved hair Improved nanite Improved eyes adaptation Added different denoises Added binaural spatial audio Removed blur
I don't care about antialiasing when I play at 4k and I don't really see much of a difference in this game, on or off. But then I assume with this mod it's forced on?
Is there no chance of you releasing these as ini's rather than paks?
Could I try your Graphics version without antialiasing?
Nothing helps me i have like 18-30 fps and heavy aim game already worked pre-patch 1.03 with disable Frame Generation. I tried everything nothing has worked!
You dont say nothing useful to understand and help you. Your hardware? What version? What are your settings? And so on, instead i think is the game and your pc because you are the first with a crash here.
Before your mod i didnt know what mouse response was it was so laggy.and the frames were horrendous. now its actually playable with locked 90fps on almost all settings on epic. thank you kind sir for fixing the game for us.
Thank you ! Immediately after installing the mod, I noticed that the mouse's responsiveness increased. Before that, it was literally impossible to shoot mutants in close combat. I would also like to clarify about correcting the vertical sensitivity of the mouse - www.nexusmods.com/stalker2heartofchornobyl/mods/57?tab=description&BH=1 If I use your mod, is it possible and does it make sense to use this separate fix as well ?
There are no problems. I just wanted to make sure about the compatibility of your mod and the fix on the link I provided. Apparently, both of them work correctly with each other.
Your mod gave me more smooth gameplay overall and almost completely eliminated mouse input lag when fsr3 frame generation is enabled.
That separate fix simply brings the vertical movement of the mouse into full compliance with horizontal sensitivity. By default, in game, the speed of vertical mouse movement is indeed slightly different from horizontal.
And thanks for the answer. You really did a great job.
On the previous version Torigums mod everything worked for me. Loaded the sensitivity mod after him. Perhaps in the latest version of the mod this will no longer work, I haven’t checked yet. It’s just that in my case, using a sensitivity mod without this mod doesn’t make sense. Only with Torigum's mod did I get best mouse response overall and the smoothest gameplay.
Thank you dsfpodsp. I think is some update of that mod for sensitivty that break compatibility with my, because i didnt change nothing that can break it, if before work and now dont work, mean the other modded touched something. Its better you create a bug in his page, he will fix soon.
By the way, everything still works for me. On the author's page of sensitivity fix, it is stated that for some the changes may only apply after several loads of the save in the game.
I cant help ehlengast about it, its other mod, a mod that i dont use it. Anyway im waiting the update on game pass to test my mod, you already tried? How is my last version with 1.0.1?
I also use the Game Pass version and so far everything seems to be working fine. I didn’t even know that the developers had already released updates for the game on other platforms. So, unfortunately, I can’t tell you how the latest version of your mod works on 1.0.1 game version.
I noticed that on version 1.5 the mouse again became a little 'floating', not as much as without the mod, but on version 1.4 the responsiveness of the mouse still better. Because of this, I will continue to use the previous version mod on patch 1.0.1
Doing this made a noticeable improvement for me, lag input is reduced, still a litle bit with lots of action onscreen but I'm playing the game on a old pc (i7 4930k, RX580, 16gb ram, installed on ssd) so I would think if you have a more powerful pc mouse lag should be pretty much eliminated.

The update will be in febraury.
Waiting for GeForce RTX 50 series ?
Stay tuned.
Hoping i can update in march.

And yeah it is pretty funny xD
My settings are all epic except Global Illumination that is set to High.
Only thing I have are these 3 lines in my engine.ini :
FrameRateLimit=120.000000
r.Streaming.PoolSize=8448
r.FilmGrain=0
the problem for "white eyes" is
r.ContactShadows
deleting this line seems to fix the issueIf you haven't experienced it yourself yet Tori, it only seems to happen in certain areas and mainly to Shop Keepers (for me anyway).

This shouldn't be a problem...

released updates for the game on other platforms. So, unfortunately, I can’t tell you how the latest version of your mod works on 1.0.1 game version.
Just finished 4h session in Swamps and running smooth in range of 100-120FPS
There were moments even above 120Fps but only for short period of time.
Keep up the great work!
Because of this, I will continue to use the previous version mod on patch 1.0.1
"C:\Users\"user name"\AppData\Local\Stalker2\Saved\Config\Windows\Input.ini" (the file path may differ depending on game vesion (steam etc)
paste:
[/script/engine.inputsettings]
bEnableMouseSmoothing=False
bViewAccelerationEnabled=False

a few words about the patch 1.0.1 ?
They released only on steam for now.
