    Hi,i have this pc:
    Processor.Intel core i9 9900k 3.60 Ghz

    ;Enter the size of your RAM here

    Hi to ExTaZN, the developer of this mod, I am trying the latest version of this mod, uploaded on 29th November, 2024. I have placed the Low-End S2FO_p.pak (had to rename it) in the ~mods folder and placed the engine.ini in my C:\Users\Mark\AppData\Local\Stalker2\Saved\Config\Windows folder. I then made the following changes: in engine.ini:
    ;Change according to the amount of video memory available to you
    d3d12.PoolAllocator.ReadOnlyTextureVRAMPoolSize=4096
    r.GPUScene.MaxPooledUploadBufferSize=4096
    ;Modify according to the amount of RAM you have available
    d3d12.PoolAllocator.ReadOnlyTextureMaxAllocationSize=16384
    r.Emitter.FastPoolMaxFreeSize=16384
    [TextureStreaming]
    ;Change according to the amount of video memory available to you
    r.Streaming.PoolSize=4096

    My specs are :
    i5 8400CPU
    GTX 1650 4GB
    16GB RAM
    game is running off a SATA SSD
    Game is updated to the latest 1.0.2 update, released today, 30th November, 2024

    But it still is lagging something terrible. I cannot see the FPS as I do not know how to check the FPS, but it looks to be running at about 5-6FPS. What could the issue be? Processor?
    Any assistance please would be highly appreciated.
    Thanking you.

      Hello, maybe the problem is in the processor and video card, in an update I will try to make the optimization better

      Dude, I have very similar specs to yours, and it's lagging something terrible, too. Thanks for the comment, now I know that running it from an SSD won't change a thing. Man, optimization in this game sucks, maybe in like 5 patches they will finally optimize it

    Hi! you don't know the parameter that reduces the load on the processor when streaming textures, in the location of Pripyat where there are many buildings the processor is very heavily loaded

    Ok so I have been learning how to unpack and repack mods mostly for the purpose of being able to remove any conflicts and I noticed when unpacking your mod that the file it spits out is called WindowsEngine.ini and am thinking it should be called just Engine.ini but maybe I am wrong because I was thinking that you actually dont need the pak file in the mod folder if you just use the Engine.ini you provide since its the same contents as the one that is packed up labeled WindowsEngine.ini in the pak file.

      Hello, the .pak file is made for ease of installation, and the file WindowsEngine.ini is so called because the game engine uses a file with this name

    Hello dear,
    of all the "config-visual-engine.ini" mods, this one is the only one that works for me. Thank you very much.
    I`m using the High-End option.

    Thank you! This mod has made the game smooth for me on my gtx 1080 and also fixed HDR for me, I had to make sure brightness was on 45 and crank up the HDR brightness to max 60 but blacks are not over blacked and rooms look realistically lit to near photo perfect at times and this is working with bugged in game lighting I swear the game has jank bugged lighting wen loading a save or something or maybe its my card struggling, either way IDK what magic you did but you are a magician.
