something is wrong when users can fix this in less than 72 hours after the games release but an entire development team couldnt do it while making the game for 14 years
maybe not a popular opinion but i agree with you. regardless of where and when it is done, a released product priced at full retail should deliver the correct optimisation. They could've been opened about it and priced it lower due to poor optimisation and it would've been fair.
Maybe watch the documentary of how some devs are still in Ukraine and how some of the families of the devs are also still in Ukraine. Maybe imagine the stress that is making a game and fixing a game while all that s#*! is going on. Maybe, just maybe, use your braincells.
@trungtoto "stop shitting on the devs ffs" Also @trungtoto "my game runs like s#*!" lmao, just lmao. The cope around this game is crazy. I love STALKER, the movie, the original trilogy, the modpacks... But to dickride the devs so hard because "muh warzone" is just insane. Dude watched their documentary too many times and brainwashed himself.
Like it or not, the game is a product of current politics first and foremost. Virtue signaling and political pity render the game pretty much bullletproof to any fair citicism, as sloppy and scammy may the game be. Such are the times.
as far as i am concerned the game shouldn't not have released, If they are in a war zone they should have prioritised other obligations before the game and got themselves in a better possition, If they can and still worked on the game War is not an excuse, Simply do not release the game in a poor condition even if that mean that you don't release the game for another year or two.
Basicaly i am not saying i don't feel bad for them but if you are going to release a game don't release a broken game, Delay the release if you have to, give it more time too cook, There used to be a time when game released without bugs or if they did it was the most rarest of bugs and never crashed the game, I'm talking PlayStation 2 era and before that, Buy the game Day 1 and it worked, Now we need Day 1 patches and 1 year of constant updates, If we keep allowing this sooner or later Cyberpunk 2077 launches will be normalised and we will have a generation of young people who have never known what it's like to play a game without bugs
he game would’ve been trash anyway, war or not. That’s just an excuse from the developers. The truth is, everyone’s switching to Unreal Engine, but they simply can’t handle it. Everyone wants to be on the cutting edge of graphics, yet they can’t optimize their games properly. Old mechanics just don’t work anymore, but at least they’ve got the Unreal Engine to show off. 😵💫It’s the same with nearly every new release—don’t let them fool you. Grow up already and stop being so naive.
they were in Ukraine for half the games dev cycle, and for a decent amount during the war.
@MasterHoshi2 UE5 looks like absolute dogshit tbh, the overuse of TAA for lumen, nanite actually being ass, and just general overuse of TAA for post processing effects make UE5 games look like garbage, decima, cryengine, even unityl if you know what you're doing all look way better, lumen is an utter joke and makes lighting look worse then games from 10+ years ago.
Удобно проигнорировал офис Киевский на 100 человек, что равняется 1\3 сотруников. Видимо так интересовал вопрос разработки. Часть людей на аутсорсе, не в стостоянии выехать, или без подобного желания.
Man there is so much stupidity in this thread. I'm seeing people blaming the devs for everything, like the war had no effect on development. When much of your team relocates and many of them are working remotely, how do you expect things to run as smoothly as normal? Some of them even died in war, you drooling idiots!
Who do you think funded this game? Microsoft. You think Microsoft is going to waste two more years of funds just so you can have 5 more fps? Like there's a bunch of stupid 18-25 year olds in this thread talking straight out of their buttcheeks. Half of you probably don't even have jobs, let alone excel at them. Just shut up.
This modder basically copy-pastes the same mod into every single unreal engine game that comes out, and I highly doubt he has created a single successful game. Comparing the two sides is just asinine, and you are all talentless.
For someone with a 1080ti "potato pc" (in today's standards) can y'all advice me should I have either Optimized Tweaks with Stalker Optimizer mods (I use both) or the Anti-Stutter Mod and Massive FPS Boost one since I recall that mods dev saying other optimizer-mods shouldn't be used at the same time. Both methods seem to give me a decent fps boost.
I acknowledge people using this mod might have a bias (like the other mods) so I also asked this under qmqz's and VynnGfx's mods. Eitherway, I'd appreciate the help!
context: setup: I have a 1080ti with a i7-8700k CPU. My GPU is also affected due to my 32'' 1440p 170hz monitor but I cap newer demanding games usually to 120-144, even if they stay or peak at the 60-90 range (should've upgraded pc before the monitor, but oh well) I got one of those 24'' 144hz 1080p BENQ's with washed up colors but that's for CSGO sweatlords but I like colors and single-player games)
My fps is around the 40-60 range roaming through the zone (which I can live with without starting to menstruate) with some dips to ~30ish in bases around people, etc.
in-game settings: I've put every graphic setting to LOW motion blur at 0%, light shafts ON TAA for upscaling with 100 resolution scale. FSR and v-sync are disabled with unlimited fps in game settings but RivaTuner caps it to 120 (better for performance) NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency is enabled FOV at 110 environment draw distance at medium, sometimes far.
Hi! I have similar config to you (1080ti gpu - 2k monitor). At the end, wich mod do you suggest to use for optimize the performance in our potato pcs? Is there any way to play at 2k with decent fps? Thx in advance.
For anyone freezing and crashing in the shader compilation screen, try clearing your directx shader cache. The game needed to recompile the shaders from scratch for me because this mod conflicted with the previously compiled shaders.
find the disk cleanup app and then select your Operating system drive then select DirectX Shader Cache and click Ok. Ive found that this increases the chances of making it past shader compilation by over 2 times! Sorry if the translation isn't that good. I used google translate. Hope this helps!
