With the help of this mod now I know that Weird Water didn't spawn for me at all Mod works, dropped the weird ball on the ground to test it. (Yes it does work on new patch)
Ah dang, i have problem with the Weird water too. Weirdly, i have two Weird Balls now, no pun intended, i noticed there was spawned another one when i walked around today, before the patch.
Mod works as of patch 1.1.3. For me, Weird Pot does spawn but got inside they chimney. Not sure if the emission just right when I was about to enter the place has some responsibility on the issue. Guess I have to do another play through just to get it.
This mod works, if it shows nothing that means that a legendary artefact is bugged and didn't appear. I had the same situation with Weird water. It wasn't spawned first time, I fixed it making a save before the anomaly appears. And then my detector showed the exact artifact location.
To everyone having trouble with Weird Water. I can confirm that it is detected. The problem is the spawn, as people have noted. So if you don't detect anything at the anomaly, then it just isn't there at all.
On PC, the only fix I found so far is to just spawn the item into your inventory. You need the UETools from here to enable the console. Then just enter the command from this page - XCreateItemInInventoryByID AArtifactWeirdWater 0 1 1
Not satisfying, but it's a hell of an artifact.

ok, i did some intensive testing. this mod works 100%. its the artifact that isnt spawning.
if you want to save scum this you have to have a save right before 10pm. the artifact spawns or not with the start of the lights at 10pm. so if they already started and it didnt spawn no amopunt of loading will trigger it.
Addendum : Unless the latest patch fixed it, there is also a chance that it will NEVER spawn for you if you've ALREADY VISITED THEN LEFT the Wandering Lights anomaly.
I found a solution to this problem. Load a save file that has never reached the spawn point, Get the spawn location during the day time, and waiting until 10pm will correctly spawn weirdwater. At least this is how the problem was solved in my case.

I went to the center of the anomaly site around 18:00 and waited till 22:00, weirdwater will not appear before of 22:00, and will not be revealed for the detector till 22:00. at the 22:00 weirwater will appear and the detector will work

Again, weird bolt didn't want to spawn for me first few times, but after some time I've revisited location and it finally spawned

Legendary is just the rarest of the standard artifacts or am i mistaken
