I've also checked, and no, you don't keep the bonus. Here's a demonstration on what happens when you unequip laser on Saiga, as an example: https://imgur.com/a/1MB3hms You do lose the accuracy without the laser module.
@DaPutzy The dispute here is not about your mod, but about removing the LCC with the help of a technician.
And yes, I confirm: if a technician removes/disables the laser, this removes the laser pointer from the weapon, and you lose bonuses. It just remains purchased for this weapon and continues to affect the repair price. I checked it on the SPSA-14: I took two identical ones, installed the LCC on one, then took them in my hands alternately and saw the difference in the crosshair size. When the technician removed the LCC, the difference disappeared. Try it yourself, if you don't believe me.
When using the flawless widescreen app to increase the horrendous weapon FOV the developers decided upon, the laser sight becomes greatly missaligned when sprinting... Do you think there is a solution for this somehow?
If I may suggest. The laser when is turned on by a technician, should have option to switch on/off, similar like changing fire rate single or auto mode. That will better mod and not will removing laser as content from game and will universal for everyone, to have chose active or not.
what lines did you change? i already have a mod that modifies that document and i dont want confilicts. I can manually add changes if you please tell what you changed. thanks
Hey, do you have any idea where this path "VFXPath = NiagaraSystem'/Game/_Stalker_2/VFX/Weapons/laserAim/NS_LaserAim.NS_LaserAim' " refers to? Or any way to unpack the file it refers to? I'm wondering if there's a way to edit the VFX itself to get rid of the laserbeam and keep the dot.
