Update: New DLSS 4 plugins added to optional (but highly recommended) updated plugins! Follow this guide after you extract and replace the plugins in your game directory.
This mod is so great! Thanks for the effort! But i get a weird white dot flickering on some concrete ceilings and walls in some areas. (it is not the radiation effect btw.) Any solution to this?
Is it compatible with Stop NPCs X-Ray Vision and Other Collision Tweaks? Or is it better to unpack, make edits from Stop NPCs X-Ray Vision and Other Collision Tweaks into this mod, and repack?
The Raytracing version tries to enable both, but it's possible the non-hardware lumen settings aren't really making a difference or are ignored, still it is an improvement
I have some lines in my engine.ini that fixes grass flickering caused by lumen. Should I unpack your mod, put the your lines inside my engine.ini or simply merge it via merge tools? Or maybe it's completly unnecessary if your mod fixes that too?
I've not noticed grass flickering in mine but if you experience it let me know and I can add a fix for it, or if you want to merge that or anything else you could unpack, add the lines you want and repack. I'm not familiar with merge tools but it probably is just automating the same thing
Yeah, lumen foliage flickering seems to exist while using your mod. Unpacked it and added two lines into WindowsEngine.ini: r.LumenScene.Radiosity.HemisphereProbeResolution=16 r.Lumen.ScreenProbeGather.TracingOctahedronResolution=16 Maybe you can use it
Had to comment, Everything about this is flawless and included audio is chef's kiss. Feels like the optional DLSS plugins really helped my stability as well, I am seeing no fps loss with raytracing preset RTX 4080 laptop gpu 4k everything installed correctly.
Absolutely nailed it with the new release. SO many options to choose from!! I'm currently using raytracing + LOD with no audio and I guarantee with extensive playtesting for 5 hours, the foliage and distance has improved massively with 0 artifacting or popins. The game feels smooth as butter and the visuals are popping!! Ray reconstruction is working perfectly! The Vram leak has also been improved upon but the game does stutter once you die a couple of times and load a saved game. I guess that is an UE5 feature (LOL). Once that happens, just exit to main menu, or quit the game , wait for 3-4 mins and restart. Other than that, this is a SOLID release and a MUST have for everyone! Keep up the great work!
Which settings in the Engine.ini are making the indoor areas so much better?
Indoor lighting is massively improved with this, and it's not the r.raytracing parts. Indoor light looks much more realistic, and being able to see indoors is pretty amazing..., but I'm not sure the rest is worth it for me, as it massively reduces fps for me when using flashlight with shadows enabled (via another mod), plus a few other fairly major fps drops, such as when in the Slag Heap. Whatever makes indoor lighting so good may be the cause of these issues of course, but I'd like to experiment with the settings.

How can I test or tell if this mod is functioning correctly and or implemented its changes?
I expected a slight to medium FPS drop after installing. Did not see one at all. 70+ Before. Still 70+ now.
Running this on a CLEAN fresh install of Stalker with no other mods or changes to ensure its correct.
Thanks :D
