How to install / manage the mod without manifes.json? For an example: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/24038 One mod only contains an i18n json file. How can stardrop install / manage it ?
This is a translation of the 'better craft' mod, not a real mod, so you should go to https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/11115 to download the mod and replace the corresponding I18N file to achieve translation
Thx. 11115 can be install / manage by stardrop. I have installed 11115 in stardrop at the beginning. The ones that not real mod (such as translation above mentioned)... It is sure that I can manually deal with them. I mean that... It will be very convenient if stardrop can install / manage them.
Its been MONTHS since I've been able to get Stardrop to work.. I posted in the github repository on Jun 20th (when the issue started) with no help. .. So I figured I would post here.
I have several friends who also use this manager and have had zero issues.
I try to run the stardrop.exe file. I get the spinning wheel of loading on my cursor and then nothing happens. I have uninstalled stardrop, reinstalled stardrop, restarted my pc, uninstalled stardew, reinstalled stardew, I have tried to find others with this issue which I have and have found no real answers to my issue.
I let it be for a while to see if maybe a new update would come out and try it but still nothing happens when I try to launch this application. I would very much like to figure out how to fix this issue so that I can easily access my mods and turn them off when I need to...
I can not seem to find the log file via the search as instructed on github. It comes up and just kinda searches and has for a while.
I would love some help with this issue as Stardrop has been the only mod manager that has been maintained and has work flawlessly until what ever happened happened.
Currently, every mod installed asks you to reset the config. After a major SV update, this can be incredibly inconvenient, especially if no major changes have happened to the mod config file for most mods.
I would love to see Stardrop not prompt you if the config files are identical to the previous version, and I would love to see an option for modders to indicate (like they can to force config reset) that no reset is needed.

Every time I try to add a mod to one of my profiles, it always goes back in the middle of the list. It's really annoying, especially if you were far from the middle. I don't know if you can do something, if yes, I'd appreciate it, but if not, then I'm okay with that too.
question: "Unable to validate Nexus Mod APl key. Please verify the key is correct and tryagain." I can only click OK and do not have the option to retype the API
I pasted the API before, but now for some unknown reason, his API is out of date, I want to replace the API, but it does not have the replacement option.
Did you try in Stardrop to click "Nexus Mods" at the top next to "Tools", and then click "Disconnect From Nexus" and when the next prompt window pops up it says "Go To Nexus Mods" and then you scroll down to the Stardew Valley API key, right next to the trash can on the left side there are two round arrows, that'll reset the API. When you click it, it refreshes the API key and copies it to your clipboard, you then paste that into the prompt window and click enter on your keyboard.
I was able to find a solution to this! If you go into %appdata%, go into stardrop, and then clear out everything in there, it should let you put in the key once you reload stardrop.
