Anthro Characters Continued overhauls virtually every NPC in the game, creating a wholly re-imagined Stardew Valley experience for those who enjoy anthropomorphic animal characters. And now it is compatible with Stardew 1.6!
New Winter Art!
Optional female-to-male genderswaps for the romanceable characters (toggleable in-game. Includes dialogue changes!). Now includes 1.6 winter art!
(0). Validate your steam game files for stardew. If you’ve EVER used a pre-1.6 version of this mod, you’ll definitely want to do this!
1. Install the most recent version of SMAPI
2. Install the most recent version of Content Patcher
3. Install the most recent version of Generic Mod Config Menu (Optional but recommended)
4. Install this mod by going to the downloads page
5. Copy the contents of the .zip to your Mods directory.
6. Start the game
To configure gender swaps:
1. On the title screen, assuming you have Generic Mod Config Menu installed, click the gear icon.
2. Click Anthro Characters Continued.
3. Configure to your heart's content.
4. Click "Save" at the bottom.
Issues?
Before logging a bug, try validating your steam game files for stardew, especially if you've installed this same mod in the past.
There are still a fair number of new issues with 1.6. We'd appreciate being told of any sprites that could be anthro-ified.

How do I turn on genderswaps?
(0). Install Generic Mod Config Menu from nexus
1. On the title screen click the gear icon.
2. Click Anthro Characters Continued.
3. Configure to your heart's content.
4. Click "Save" at the bottom.
Will this break steam achievements?
No
Will this corrupt my save?
No. Delete the mod and everything will go right back to normal!
Is this mod compatible with Stardew Valley Expanded (SVE)?
Yes, to an extent. They don't outright conflict, but there is no official furry art by Gav for SVE yet.
