Controller input is completely disabled with this mod. Therefore using nucleus is a no go. Unless im missing something? Nucleus handler is latest, as is this. At a loss as nothing ive tried enables controllers.

This mod has a config for expecting either keyboard or gamepad inputs.
The nexus handler will set that config per game instance.
Gamepad inputs are being remapped to XInput as that is what Nucleus supports, meaning your gamepad needs to support XInput as well. Stardew switched to SDL recently, which necessitated this behaviour.

It seems that using Nucleus only allows local play with up to 4 players. However, with the 1.6 update now supporting up to 8 players, I tried running 5 instances of the game. But whenever I sleep in-game, one of the instances crashes. I wonder if it's possible to support more than 4 instances or have one instance utilize the official native 4-player split-screen mode, while the other instances join via IP, making it possible for more than 4 players to play locally.

      Hello,
unforuntately native splitscreen + nucleus aren't currently supported.
Could you perhaps share your smapi log after the crash?
This might not be related to nucleus Co-op / Coop Cursor at all.

Not using Nucleus but can you make one with native Splitscreen cursor for Player 2 on Controller?

The right analogue stick does that already, if I understand you correctly

We are currently in the proccess of updating this mod and the nucleus handle to get (multiple) mouse&keyboard players working. If you're just intending to play with 2 gamepads I recommend downloading the 1.0.1 version and playing with it until the nucleus handle updates.

If it doesn't work anymore it's because the 1.6 SDV update broke something.
I'll check back on this when I find the time in the next couple of days

Running with Nucleous Coop v2.1.2 and Stardew 1.6, works perfectly, what an amazing job <3!

      Ty for the feedback.
I haven't had the time yet to test it out myself.
Glad it's working for you :)

It works as intended and prevents multiple SDV instances from interfering with each other whenever the cursor is used (like in menus).
You can still move the virtual cursor with the gamepads analogue stick.
If you're using NucleusCoop to open multiple instances of Stardew Valley it will automatically enable/disable this mod for whatever instance is playing with Mouse & Keyboard.
Please note that you can't have two people play with Mouse & Keyboard, at least one will have to play with a gamepad.

This doesn't work for Keyboard & Mouse w/ Controller. Mouse freezes for the first instance, but the controller virtual cursor works fine in the second instance.
