Hello! Just want to say first that I love the mod so much, it has changed the game for me for the better. When I discovered that this mod checked all the checkboxes for what I wanted in a story and character-driven fantasy mod, I spent day and night going through the story for the past two months and it had become something I could look forward to everyday. Interacting with the characters, thinking I've already seen all their dialogue, only to find that they've got more to say? I love it SO much.

That aside, I do have an issue :") Mateo have walked out of bounds of the farmhouse when they're (I assume) supposed to be walking to the bed (it's 10PM) to sleep. I'm unsure if it's due to the furniture mod I used for the bed, so should I use a Stardew Vanilla bed furniture?

Hm I'm not sure why they would wander out of bed. I'll add it to the docket to investigate. I don't think a custom bed would cause a problem, typically an NPC will just make a complaint if they don't detect a usable bed. But just to be sure, can you use a vanilla bed for a bit and monitor their return behavior?
Hello! Yes, I tried with the blue pinstripe bed, and Mateo did walk and sleep in it. I'll continue to observe if anything else happens with other beds.
Edit: I suppose I'll add here that the previous bed they didn't walk to is from PlatinumCats' Rattan Furniture mod. It doesn't bother me to use another furniture bed, but I thought I'd report it here incase it's something of note.
Thanks so much for such a well thought out, fun and dynamic mod! I'm loving every NPC, and all the new mechanics (love the FFX zanarkand dream music hehe).
I've run into something that I'm not sure is an issue or not on my end. On my previous in-game day, I remember having various spells like the "summon familiar" spell that the handbook says is unlocked along the "Sorcery" skill line. However, when I loaded in that save today on the next in-game day, that spell was greyed out and said something about "need to unlock Witchcraft spells" to unlock it (I can head back in game and send screenshots if that would help with my description). Some of the assigned hotkeys were switched too (for example I used to have numpad+0 to toggle the spell bar) that got switched to U. Not a big issue, but when I click the spell bar I only see the alchemy option and dont see the previous 2 buttons, one of which I remember allowed me to unlock various potion recipes and the teleportation circle.
I'll attach my SMAPI log, and I did delete S&S fully and reinstall it to hopefully update it, but no luck. Again, none of these are game breaking but I'm not sure if something changed in the mod or if other mods are interfering, and I would appreciate finding out what's going on.
The research system from the previous version was removed, and the spells were moved to sorcery skill level up. What level are you at in Sorcery? They should have been back-added to your roster of spells in an existing save.
Hey thanks for the quick reply! I'm checking right now and my sorcery skill is level 1, but when I look at my spells list I have the familiars spell already on my hotbar, but it's greyed out and oh that's so weird when I pressed the hotbar quick keys I could summon the familiar after all? But I'm still level 1 Sorcery, and the greyed out spells still have the "Unlocked through the Witchcraft research system" when I hover over them.
I got SO excited about the weed bug being fixed! I can confirm that MOST of the shields now look perfectly fine in the crafting menu on my end. The only shield acting up (not in an obnoxious weeds way though) is the iridium shield. here's the log.
This is fixed for next update. In the meantime with a text editor while the game is open, you can:
1.) Navigate to Sword & Sorcery\[CP] Sword & Sorcery\Data\Quests & Items\LegendaryWeapons.json 2.) CTRL+F the term "Data/CraftingRecipes" 3.) Go into the field for "{{ModID}}_IridiumShield" 4.) Change "{{ModID}}_IridiumShiel 1" to "{{ModID}}_IridiumShield 1" 5.) In the black SMAPI window run patch reload DN.SnS
Hello, I'd like to report an issue. Dual-wielding weapons causes abnormal attack speed, and each weapon swing triggers an SMAPI error. The problem disappears after unequipping and re-equipping the off-hand weapon, but it reappears every time the game is restarted. I've noticed many others reporting the same issue—I wonder if it can be fixed?
So I know you can only date 1 of the npc's because of the story, but I was wondering if there was a way to work around it. I know you have put so much time and effort into this mod and I am very grateful for that. But I do wish to date and or marry all 3 of them. So I have a few questions that can hopefully be answered.
1. If I am dating Mateo because I chose their romantic path, and I missed Birog's romantic path, can I break up with Mateo and wait for the final battle to date Birog?
2. Will I be able to romance any of the npc's again after I break up with them?
3. If I break up with Mateo, and I missed Birog's romantic path, would I be able to romance Cirrus?
4. If I am able to romance Cirrus, I break up with her, I do the final battle, I should be able to date Birog still right?
5. Is there any other multiple spouse mods that we can use to make all 3 romanceable and not have polyamorous mess with anything?
I do know that this mod is made to be where we date and marry 1 of them, and I am only saying this as a suggestion and I don't know what code has been put into this and how hard it would be to make it possible to date and marry all 3. So I ask these next 2 questions just to be curious and maybe learn a little bit on how this mod works.
6. Is it possible to either make a separate mod or button in the generic mod page that says if you want poly just click the button?
7. Or, is there something we can do to change the code in the mod to make it possible?
I know this is a lot, and your probably sick and tired of people asking about wanting to romance all 3 and your probably wanting people to just play the mod how you made it. I do love this mod as it is, I just wish I could marry and date all 3.
This is a lot, and I am sick and tired of people telling me to change the fundamental design of the story for collect-'em-all polyamory compatibility. The answer is no, and to suggest making a different mod is actually the most insane comment I've had in the almost three years this project has been public. Just use Multi-Save, holy heck.

This is a hiccup in updating from an existing save file if you have a shield/weapon equipped to the offhand slot.
Seems like this issue runs deeper, we're looking into it.
In the meantime, try either of these two options:
1.) Unequipping the shield (or anything in the offhand slot) and putting it back on 2.) Unequip the shield (or anything in the offhand slot) , sleep, restart the game and put it back on
Any plans on making a permanent fix for this? Having to do it every time you do a session is bumming me out. Do you have this up on github or something? Could take a look.
We actually did make our Github public recently, feel free to look. Fresh eyes are appreciated, we've been bugfixing for a few months and are trying to focus on 3.0 content instead to avoid burning out.
i cant remember the last time i had so much fun playing a video game. maybe i never did before. thank you for making this mod. i look forward to playing and it gives me the boost i need to get through a long day! :) plus mateo is pretty darn cute!
I've had the same problem as other people with the game stuttering when using my dagger even without using my offhand shield at the same time and sometimes the game will freezes for a moment or two when the SMAPI error happens, so I tried the first option on how to fix it and it worked, but when I loaded up my game today it's doing it again.
Also, I just got this mod, so I haven't used any of the previous versions of the mod in the save I'm in now which is also a new save by the way.
Thanks for the heads up! I've passed this along to our C# dev for our next update. In the meantime, does repeating one of the two fixes get rid of the error again?
Yeah doing the first fix "(1.) Unequipping the shield (or anything in the offhand slot) and putting it back on" does help stop it but I do have to do it every time I play my game or I end up with the error.
Delete everything related to S&S, reinstall. Make absolutely sure there are no duplicates. Keep the S&S components in one folder. The only way this happens is if the install is broken.
Hello again, I'm having a problem after marrying Hector. It's just that when he leaves our house, he would be stuck at but stop (10,44) no matter what and he would never come to bed. Is there any way to solve this?
After the update, I'm not sure if his schedule was fixed or not, so I tried sleeping in his tower. After the first night, He appeared in his tower, so I guess it was fixed. But then I slept in his tower for the second night and He went back to the farmhouse again. I don't know why.

Also, I just got this mod, so I haven't used any of the previous versions of the mod in the save I'm in now which is also a new save by the way.
