Hi,i downloaded the new version of editor and i cant load my save file.Program opens up,i'm loading a save file and the program starting to think and it crashes. I'm putting there a notepad file with text from my ps4 saves...it was working days before.
Edit- Found the solution. It works like this...
1.By the save wizard, find Your save file, and go to Advanced Mode. 2.Export Your farm file to desktop(do not copy text to a notepad file... for some reason it does not work) 3.Close save wizard so there wont be any problems with your save. 4. Edit this file by notepad or notepad++ and cut <compressed> from the end of the line, and save this file. 5.Open Farm Foundry Editor and load this file. 6.Edit what you want. 7.Do not forget to save in editor after you will make changes in savefile. 8.Close the farm Foundry. 9.Open Your farm file from the desktop by notepad or notepad++ and at the end of the file add back <compressed>. 10.Save this file, and copy everything from this file by pressing ctrl+A and ctrl+C. 11.Open Save Wizard, and open Your save file by Advanced mode. 12.Choose the proper farm name from the list, and in the place of actual save text... put ctrl+V and save everything. 13.Put it on Your Ps4/5 and play.
Do not forget one thing - <compressed> must be at the total end of text, and if you are useing notepad++, it cant be added as an subordinate line
I don't get it why Farm Foundry don't want to load a notepad file as it was days ago(after i was loading it,editor was crashing), but it works on exported files.I testedy this myself, and for now, everything works in game.
Hi! Does anyone know if you can remove a marriage via this? I changed my mind, but don't want to go through a divorce and have them be all sad afterwards lol.
I do, but I feel so sad during the whole process lol. I hate breaking their hearts. But it's fine, I found a backup I had made earlier that only cost me like three weeks of progress, but it was better than seeing their sad reactions when I divorce them.
I'm not affiliated with the mod or anything, but it might be easier to access the in-game tool for this than modding if it's the only thing you want to change. (https://stardewvalleywiki.com/The_Shrine_of_Illusions)
So in my save I can't go to the museum/library because it tries to add a lost book when that lost book has already been found and freezes. Is there a way to just... make that not happen? Like I'd be down with removing all lost books and having to re-find them, that would be fine
i tried to change my horse´s name but when i do its still the same as before on the game :( and in the editor it appears as the new name but in game as the old one
Found an issue with editor. I lost my hoe, or it ran away. So downloaded this to try and get a new one. Loaded my save. Put the hoe in my backpack. Made sure quantity was 1. Even checked stack size in edit node. All good. Save the save. Exit editor. Load game. And to my surprise I had 999 hoes. Now what's a farmer to do with 999 hoes. Can't sell them. Can't give them as a gift. Even tight arse Lewis wouldn't buy any. Was thinking of throwing them in pond out back. But that's a lot of hoes to throw away. Can the creator of this please look into this. Thanks, farmer Jones out.
@farmerOwren; I did try to put them in the recycler. No go. Ended up tossing 998 hoes in the pond out back. And just to make sure I didn't lose my hoe again. I locked the hoe in a chest in the shed. Still not sure how I lost my hoe. But definitely not going to lose it again.
When I try to load Farm-Foundry.exe on Linux it says "warning: execve: access denied." I copied my save into the downloads folder. Am I using it correctly?
Edit: I see the problem. Steam Deck does not use the same file destinations. Unfortunately for now it doesn't look like the windows file path will work. Bummer. For those playing on Deck, you'll find the %appdata% folder under .local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/413150/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData . You will need to check "force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" to generate these files. Ideally, running the .exe in Konsole would do the trick, but for now it will show the error "Could not find (filepath), starting /bin/bash instead. Please check your profile settings."
