Why does the mod shift the camera down when riding a horse close to water when water reflections are on? It's very nauseating!

yeah it's really nauseating and disorienting to have the camera snap down like this... hopefully peacefulend can fix that as i don't think it's any mod conflicts

Recently started having this problem as well after shifting the player’s reflection offset down, setting it back to default fixed the problem for me!

I'm having the same problem. Really messes with my head. Changing the player reflection offset didn't make any difference for me, unless I set it to 0, which then just removes the reflection. Has anyone found a fix to this yet?

EDIT TO UPDATE: I found a fix for this! Go into your game settings while in-game and lock the tool bar!  I can ride my horse or tractor right up next to the water without the flip-flop effect. This may be an issue at some point if the toolbar blocks something I need to see, but for now, it works!

Original post: Same with me. Guess no one has figured out how to stop it? I love DR but agree the visual flopping creates some havoc for me.

So, at The Dance of the Moonlight Jellies when I launch the boat to make the jellies swim up, the dynamic reflections water surface doesn't work and the water looks vanilla. It works prior to the cutscene, but once that starts it's back to vanilla. Anyone else having this problem/know how to fix it?

Update: It's conflicting with Wild Animals Lite somehow?

    Hello

I have version 1.6 of the game and Stardew Valley Expanded and everything works for me. This is one of the best and most beautiful modifications.

I use the modification Visible fish and at night it is visible over the reflection of the sky in the main locations of the game. But in the modification "Lnh's small additional area" at night the fish is visible only if you approach the pond with a torch. I do not know how this is implemented, but it is very beautiful. Is it possible to do this in the main locations of the game?

Man, this mod really needs an update. Theirs so many bug's and quirks that need fixing and performance optimization wherever possible. This mod has, I might say has one of the most impactful visual overhales out there when compared to other mods and when it doesn't work as intended you Reallly notice it.

I don't mean to rush you nor should you, but I need to know if you have anything coming up.
This is my only solution for this, for I physically mentally spiritually can't make myself come to terms with disabling it.

    您好,为什么靠近水边时星空正常出现,而远离水边时却消失了?

I highly suggest setting waves as below if some would want to use the effect, it looks quite nice and real with those values instead of the default ones 💙

I like what this mod is going for but I feel like certain quirks of Stardew keep it from functioning quite like I'd hope for it to. The lack of respect for how high the player is off the ground, as well as the lack of reflections of bridges and other objects, are both pretty big issues IMO, but neither of those can really be fixed in a way that will work with custom maps automatically, which is unfortunate. One manageable improvement that I've seen other people suggest, though, would be better integration with Dynamic Night Time.
