Hi I'm having an issue with the download when downloaded via Vortex it fails to install and with manual download it opens the zip file without a folder housing them all, like all the files are immediately seen without being in a main folder (I apologies if I'm not wording this properly its a bit difficult to explain)
Hey. I love this mod and I have been using the mod for a while with no issues. I updated the mod today and it says I still need to update it. (Which I have already done.) But when I opened my saved my colored ponds were no longer colored except for the lava eels. They are all maxed out already but the color disappeared on them. Is there a fix to this? Thank you for your work!
The update issue was due to me forgetting to version bump within the manifest file. And colored ponds should be working again with the new update and rewrite
Hey so some questions certain fish like the Mushu and Shinidamachu and some I assume legendary fish from the more fish mods and similar ones are invisible in the better fish pond/are not producing properly and I am trying to figure out if that's a your mod issue or their mod issue.
If anyone is experiencing this issue please let me know.
Mod Compatibility is very hit or miss with mods such as mine, as they need to overwrite base game files any other mod that also overwrites that file will not work together. I'm not sure that's what is happening here, but just a general thing to think of.
As for this specific issue, it could be a bug on the end of this more fish mod not having proper sprites for rendering inside the fish pond.
You can try again using my mod together with More Fish, as I have now gone through and done a massive rewrite to improve compatibility with other mods, and have released a new update for the mod.
Hello, would you consider having a config option to disable the applicability to default fish items? Like to not affect the fish items from other mods. Some fishes from other mods produces non-roe items, in Alchemistry mod for example, the Newt and Moonlight Jellyfish in Fishponds originally produces items that are needed for crafting alchemistry items but with this mod enabled, the Newt and Moonlight Jellyfish Fishponds now ONLY produces roe
This is hard to do, because some vanilla fish rely on these default classes as they themselves don't have specific outputs. I would have to build compatibility for Alchemistry directly into the mod, but I wouldn't know the relevant ids and drop tables that Alchemistry uses. Which makes it not easy to have this compatibility. Especially when different players all play with different mods, and it's a wild goose chase to make every combination of mods compatible with every combination of mods.
I'm willing to try but I would need help with putting together a list of the drop tables and fish ids from the base mod.
Hey lovely! Quick question... is this mod compatible with mods that add new fish types? I use Alchemistry and am hoping to use your mods to enhance my potion production speed by getting me more fish pond materials quicker!
This mod isn't really built with compatibility in mind, as I don't know the correct item ids for fish from other mods and their respective loot table, it is hard for me to add that compatibility into the mod.

Totally understand the barrier you're facing. Tragically I am not skilled enough to be a mod creator myself, so definitely don't have any right to ask more of you. But I can get you the names of the mod creators for both mods so that you can reach out and discuss procuring Item IDs from them for the purposes of compatibility if you wanted. I'd also happily reach out to them myself and support wanting this compatibility feature to help get you access to the item IDs. Let me know!
I have looked into the files for the Alchemistry mod and it shouldn't be too hard to include compatibility for the mod. Although, It will take a little while as I am busy with work at the moment and don't have much time to troubleshoot and adjust the files as needed for better intermod compatibility at the moment.
I don't think it's working, for some reason. Just downloaded the updated version and played for 3 in-game days, but my 10 lava eel pond keep producing 3 roe, maximum. According to the mod file, it's suposed to be from 10 to 15 roe.
Hi, thanks a lot for this mod! I want to report there is one line missing for the spook fish code. Cmiiw, I think you forget to add "ItemId": "(O)166" right after "Item": "(O)166", so it's impossible for the pond to produce that coded item.

I picked them up first. Went to run the line of my ponds.
Blew up some of my crops, and a mini obelisk.
I am now laughing my butt off after recovering from the shock. My poor fish must have been terrified!!
