i cannot get this mod to work. on smapi it says its an empty file even though i've put the portraits into the portraiture mod folder as well. and in game if i press P it does show switching between 'vanilla' and 'hdr' portraits but the portraits stay vanilla no matter which one it's switched to. even if i press the button to fix it nothing happens. someone please help me out if possible i really want to try this mod out
try a new folder and put all the images into that folder. make sure it's the right location tho: Stardew Valley -> Mods -> Portraiture -> Portraits -> New Folder
I have downloaded this mod before, but when I upgraded my windows to windows 11, SMAPI, now says the folder is empty even though when I open it there are the photos of everyone.
And EDIT: I made the files work by Unziping the file and adding it into the other Mod: Portraiture → Portraits Then it worked in game (press P when speaking to someone to filter through the Portraits)
I realize this is very late as a response and you've likely figured it out by now, but if you press "O" it will un-fix. "O" fixes the portrait for individual NPCs so you can use multiple portrait mods for different NPC's without changing all of them.
