I just wanted to thank you for this mod. I've always loved the idea of Stardew Valley but never felt relaxed because of how fast the days were. I felt like I was constantly rushed and never able to finish everything. It made my anxiety go crazy. I got through my first day on a fresh playthrough with this mod and literally had to sit for a minute when I got teary with relief. I'm finally having the Stardew experience I was promised by everyone and it's because of your mod. I'm so grateful. I can't express how much. So thank you. Thank you so very, very much. <3 I wish you many joys.
hello, since ure the most recent comment here, did u download this mod or the unofficial updated version? bc im considering to get this and im confused which one works
I always preferred this mod over Timespeed because of being able to freeze time specifically on the Farm so I can do all the farm maintenance and still have time to go out and do other things in the day. Time still passes on things connected on the farm though - farm cave, coops, barns, sheds, etc. How can I get those to freeze time as well? Edit: Nevermind - I figured out how to enable the checker in SMAPI to get the location names and add them to the freeze list. Thank you for including that functionality!
Wait, that's working for you? I'm trying to use the unofficial update you linked but SMAPI is refusing to load it. According to the error log there are invalid references to nonexistent fields. Has anyone fixed this or would I have to get my hands dirty?
IDK where to ask/write this so ill try here. I have a time mod in my folders namedITS STARDEW TIME.
Basically, I played with a friend online, no issues. However, going solo, I have a weird time bug. Whenever I fish, this occurs as soon as my fishing line hits the water, the clock "saves" time, and infinitely loops back (the clock only, doesnt affect gameplay) to its previous state for 5-7 seconds. Meaning if I fish at 9:00, time will do 01...02...03...04...05... 01.. 02... (see what I mean?) Ill ask my friend later, as I never added a time mod on my own, only other types. If we come up with a fix ill update my post.
So something's weird with the display's handling of modular arithmetic? But it's only a display bug?
I am not sure this developer will be able to help you with "It's Stardew Time", as it's an unofficial 1.6 port of the mod. You should try asking on It's Stardew Time's nexus page if you haven't already. (Even if this developer can help, I think their priority should be on porting this version of the mod or, if they prefer, contributing to the fork)
Edit: nevermind what I said about posting on the fork's page, just realized they locked their comments. Maybe there's another way to contact them?
Hi, just wondering if all players need to have this mod installed for it to work properly, or just the host? Other co-op mode pausing mods state that all players need to have it, but as this one doesn't specify I just wanted to confirm if that's the case. Thanks!
When I was playing with a friend it only required me to have it IIRC. Weird that it would be different from other time pausing mods though, so I'm second-guessing myself.
I know there is an unofficial time master but it keeps telling me to update it even though I uninstall it and install the "newest" and SMAPI still says it needs to be updated and its bothering me...will this mod, the original be updated for the newest stardew update, 1.6.8?
If you can't ignore the message which is totally possible why don't you just check the manifest in the file folder. You can change the version number to 1.6.8 so the message will stop
We love the mod, great design. Unfortunately, our simple use-case isn't really captured very well. We're hoping to be able to ONLY have this slow time during cutscenes, not during fishing, opening chests, or browsing menus. Is there any way we can configure this to be CUTSCENE ONLY? The percentage slow is exactly what we're hoping for, but having it enable while folks are organizing their chests or fishing is a little too much.
Yeah, we are in the same boat. It feels like suddendly, whenever we pause by doing anything the other player just gets to move around and do stuff, it cramps like 3 days in one day.
I had this use-case as well. What we did was change the "Pause Mode" to "All" and have "Any Cutscene Pauses" set to TRUE. This will ensure that your game pauses ONLY when EVERYONE is doing something at the same time that causes a pause (due to the Pause Mode: All setting) and whenever someone is in a cutscene. It still means that there are circumstances other than cutscenes where your game will pause, but they should be rare (in the case you're all talking to NPCs in the same exact moment, menus, whatever.)
Hey there, I am the creator of the original MultiPause mod, and this mod looks fantastic. I would love to see this updated for 1.6, as I think it's much more worthwhile than me updating my original mod. If you make the source available, the SMAPI team can actually help with automated code updates to make the process even easier. Really hope to see it soon! Amazing work!
Unfortunately there are no licenses specified in the source code that would safely label it as open source and redistributable/modifiable. We would need confirmation from the original author before touching the source.
Edit: looks like the mod page lists as GNU GPL 3.0
Hi, I made a new repository for myself. I fixed up the mod such that it is running locally for myself. I put very little thought into the process so I may have introduced bugs when fixing things up, but it seems to be working correctly so far in my save.
Feel free to rip the code or republish the mod anyway you'd like from this repository:

I WILL NOT BE RESPONDING TO FURTHER COMMENTS ON THIS COMMENT. I'M NOT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS MOD. I WAS JUST THANKING THEM.

I have the version 1.2.2 but the log say me that...

May be better to just use a mod that is being updated. They seem largely similar.
