Things should be overall fine now for 1.6! I converted things such as objects, crops and letters to CP which toned down the dependencies a lot!

Is Constance's hat a rarer item to fish up? I've been trying to fish it for the last few in game days, I've caught all the fish from this mod too, but I have yet to catch the hat.
I am in general fine with people making portraits for my NPC(as long as it's not NSFW) so you're free to do so, tho I am not really that well versed with Sonic overall so I can't really say any thing about what sonic species would fit.
I just asked since this is not my mod but more than likely due to the plot her species will likely match willy's species or at least be in a similar group

All my fish can be caught on Ginger Island! I have a Google Sheet here: click! but it is still a WIP(the Lost Island ones at the bottom are for a future update).
Hello! This is a lovely mod and I'm loving all the new fish, but I do have a question about the Scarlet Vampire Squid. I have the Visible Fish mod so I can see all the beauties in the water, but I have never seen the Scarlet Vampire Squid, nor have I been able to catch one. I referenced your Fish spreadsheet and made sure I was in the right place at the right time for this one, but I have had no luck at all. Any tips you can provide? Thank you for sharing this mod, Constance is a treasure :-)
I'm glad you like Constance! So, uh...I gotta admit I was a bit baffled by this but I think I figured it out. The Vampire Squid is rather hard to get but for some reason I had a small typo in the fish table where it generates the likelyhood for it to spawn so it got extra super duper rare on top of that. I fixed it in the new update. It's still rare but now it's catchable again like it should be(It is around a 2% chance without anything that increases fishing luck etc).
Hello! I love Constance very much, but she kind of waltzed across my island farm and destroyed a bunch of sprinklers. It is nice to have someone besides Birdie and Mr. Qi hanging out in IslandWest, but could you maybe upload a map of the places where I shouldn't build? Or do you know of a mod that will make her not destroy them?
EDIT: Never mind, I found an updated version of Non-Destructive NPCs that should fix this! Here it is in case anyone else is experiencing the same issue.
Oh yeah, I should probably pin the link to the mod at some point. Since I am generally working on a big update I will update all my info in the desc and in my pinned comment here too with everything that needs to be known, but glad that you like her!
great mod. any chance youd be able to animate the fish to match all the other fishies i have :) oh and maybe chit chat to with gervig to get these in the aquarium ;D

I don't really have any interest in animating my fish to be honest, I am busy enough finding time to work on a general update to this mod and as I don't use animated fish it hasn't really been much on my mind. Plus I am adding more fish in my future update so I am p occupied adding the code and art for those :3
First off, absolutely loving this mod. Constance is such a colorful character in her own way and adds even more reason to visit the Ginger Island. However I am having some issues that I dont know how to fix. I got the letter from her saying she has recipes and seeds in her shop, and its been a week in game since getting that letter but nothing of the sort is appearing in the shop. I'm currently in winter if that makes a difference

Is there anything I need to do to click on the seed store? And is there an option to turn off giant crops? Long term crops that can be harvested can become huge crops after a period of time, which is very inconvenient. I don't know what means can be used to prevent them from becoming huge crops. However, the mod is great in other aspects, and I really like this character. Thank you for bringing such a great mod.

Hello! If you know how to open a .json file then you can open the crops.json file and scroll to the bottom and set all the giant crops to "Chance":0.00, then there is zero chance it happens.
The Seed shop will open after you received a letter from her(you get the letter when you have 4 hearts friendship with her).
I would just like to say: I adore Constance. I think she's a super fun character, and her design is gorgeous. This might be an odd question but are there any plans in the future to let her be dateable?
Maybe hags just happen to be my kryptonite. That is a valid possibility.
I have future plans for more updates but she won't be datable as her story will progress in a different direction. I will add some datable NPCs in the future. I do not really appreciate you referring to her as a hag tho, js. I know you didn't mean it in a bad way but I feel like it has quite some negative connotation.
