So there's a whole LOT of mods that want to use that spot between Jas's tree and the Secret Woods entrance, and they are all mutually incompatible, and I just installed a different one, and I am /not/ taking sides in this and I am /not/ making individual compat for each one.
I've made a generic "north compatibility" config option instead that lets you just Leave The Fence Alone and have the thicker forest I added stop further south. Whichever mods you have that change that can just do whatever they want there.
I do want to thank you for your efforts. Do you know what could be happening? I downloaded the update and saw a lot of "trees" covering up paths. I know the creator of the Leif mod, moved the location to a different part of the woods instead of giving them a different home.
You need to turn on the compatibility option in config! I'm not tracking it automatically because again way too many mods to accomodate.
What's the problem in the second and third images? That's the main mod functionality working as intended, you can pass under the canopy (not everywhere, you need to find the path, and you will need to use the scythe to clear it of undergrowth).
Can you give me a full screenshot of the forest with Leif and without my mod?

I’ll also just +1 for an SVE version, although I realize it’d be a whole other version of the map! The idea is quite good, so I express my appreciation in case this ever happens.
Other mods that might be worth nominating to check if they could be compatible, although maybe these are enough in the “middle of the forest map” that they don’t conflict: Jane (small house near the entrance from farm), Alec (pet store in middle, The Sushi Project (shop stall on middle island).

It brings so much more life to Cindersap Forest with its beautiful, lush tree retextures, and visiting the forest always brings me happy. 🌲 If you ever have the chance, would you consider making a compatibility patch with SVE?

A "compatibility patch" with SVE, considering how much SVE changes the forest map, would effectively be an entire new version of the mod. It's on my to-do list for sometime in the future when I feel like it...
...or you could take my files and make your own version for SVE :3 (consider this official open permission for SVE specifically)
Hello, Liliet! It's me again, heh. i recently installed the "Ornithologist's Guild" mod and that the mods conflict a bit (image) . P.S: I know how hard you try to make your mod work correctly with third-party mods, but I think sometimes you overdo it a lot. So please don't forget to take a rest every now and then. (*´ω`*)
There's honestly just not enough space there. That said, I HAVE considered making a mod to properly expand Backwoods to make it match the name... that's a good idea for what to actually /put/ there.
