Hi everyone. The seasonal update is finally here. There are a lot of new options, lot of choice and lot of flowers. If you encounter issues, i will need a log (with patch summary if possible), and the content of your config.json. A screenshot may also be useful.
I suggest you to read the article about options, some options are a bit limited to specific cases at the moment.

To have a patch summary in your log :
    - load the save, then enter the map with the issue (for this mod, it's usually the farm)
    - go in the smapi console, and type "patch summary" (without the "")
    - then post your log as usual on https://smapi.io/log/ and give the link here

Thanks a lot ! Since this update has a lot of stuff, don't expect me to fix issues without a log, thanks for your understanding :)

Hi! I saw you updated recently and thought maybe that would fix the slime hutch issue, but mine is still throwing an error, so figured I'd share just in case it was helpful. Thanks for the lovely mod!

My plans for updating are heavy enough at the moment, but in the meantime all buildings can be disabled. Slime hutch changed size in 1.6 hence the error.

Might be the best building mod EVER. Along with your more flowery grass mod, it complements the color palette of vanilla stardew so well!

Hi! Love your art!! Is this available as an AT version or would it change all the base sprites by default?

      Hi,
It would change all the base sprites of the building enabled. I plan to move to something working differently but it'll take time (not AT, but similar : the vanilla skin system)

Is this still functional in 1.6.14 (or 1.6.9 and above)?

Yes, outside of maybe the slime hutch.

Hi Lumisteria! Would you be okay with Goldenrevolver making their Horse Overhaul mod compatible with your stable skin? I would love being able to use your mod in conjunction with theirs. If you are okay with this, they ask that you pm them giving permission, or to further discuss details.

I would also like to let you know your fish-style buildings are to die for, as someone who loves playing on the riverland farm, I appreciate the aesthetic - especially that lighthouse of a silo, absolute perfect work! Thanks to you I dream of one day figuring out how to make the lighthouse glow at night!
Or adding an animated lens in there for fun!
Maybe adding other types of buildings on stilts so we can put them into the water! (A waterlogged shed, halfway into the water? Sign me up, baby!)
Because we need floating buildings in this game; pontoon or columns or literally whatever floats your boat!

So thank you so much for adding fish/riverland/ocean-themed things to the game!

I'm not sure what you're asking, for me to make something, for me to give permission to GoldenRevolver to make something, or for you to ask us both to make something? What is GoldenRevolver thinking of this?

And thanks for the comment, the idea of stilts is cool but possibly outside of what i can do myself.

You don't have to make anything! Goldenrevolver would add support for your mod into their mod.

Goldenrevolver is open to adding support, but asks that I (the user) ask the other mod author (you) for permission, and that you message Goldenrevolver to let them know they can proceed.

Their mod (the part that would involve getting your permission) makes it possible to use the watering can on the stable building to fill up the water troughs, and gain friendship with the horse by doing so. They need access to some of your assets (the sprites for your stables, I believe) to be able to add the correct overlays for empty and filled troughs.

Your stable skin and artwork will still only be accessible from your mod - only overlays will be created to match them and added to Goldenrevolver's mod.

I hope this cleared it up somewhat, english is not my native language. Thank you for taking the time to read!

      Thanks for the explanation.
I am ok on the overlay compatibility. Just note that in a future i may change how this mod is adding buildings reskin, so this may change things slightly. But it's not soon anyway.

heya, I just found out about this request. horse overhaul adds minimal overlay textures onto stable sprites so I can make a water container (the bucket or the trough) appear empty or filled dynamically. here are examples of overlay sprites for other popular cp mods. since you appear to use a very vanilla-like stable style, I may even be able to reuse overlays that I already use for other mods. my mod will simply detect if your cp mod is installed, read the config to figure out which stable option is currently used (if different overlays are required depending on the config), detect the season (to detect foliage that covers the water container) and then draw a fitting overlay on top of your sprite after the asset pipeline is finished.

of course you can still change your stable sprites, add new ones, whatever you want. it would only affect my changes if it changes the water container. there is of course zero obligation for you to tell if you do add stable sprite changes that "break" my overlays, but if you want you can reach out to me and I'll handle updating my mod for it. otherwise, I'll simply do so once a user tells me about it

You have my permission for the changes and if it happens that i do change stuff i'll try to remember this discussion. So far, if i change, it'll be more a format change than an image change, so you may just have to adapt the targeting.

released version 1.5.9 which adds support for your mod. took a bit due to limited free time and due to the two different foliage options that overlap with the bucket (so 3 when including none) per season, so I wrote some custom logic for it instead of making bucket overlays for all combinations. should be pretty future proof apart from renaming the config option 'StyleStable' (but feel free to do so when you overhaul the config, I can easily fix it)

I was just trying out the different options of this mod and i really like how the vanilla coop, shed and barn look but when i go to recolor them it looks weird.. is there a way to fix this, I could provide an image to show what I am talking about.

It looks like something that would happen because another mod is editing the mask after my mod is. A log may be useful to confirm, if possible with a
      patch summary full
      typed in the console.

How can I get a log? I also do not have other mods that change buildings but I do have other CP mods.

Hi, I just want to say thank you for creating this mod.

I love the vanilla texture and aesthetic, so seeing a transformation that celebrates the original style makes me cherish this mod so much.
It's been almost a decade since it was released, and I still love it. Whatever updates you prepare, I will look forward to them. Take your time, I will always support you.

    Again, thank you!

I love this mod a lot and have used it for a while now to great results, but since it's not compatible with recolour mods for now (I just tried it with Vibrant Pastoral and the vanilla colours looked out of place), I'd like to ask if there is any plans to add this in the future for popular recolours (DaisyNiko, Starblue, Vibrant Pastoral, etc.)?

For the moment i haven't planned such thing, as i'm best when working with vanilla style (vibrant colors and such). I want first to update the mod to a newer system (that would be more convenient to use and offer more flexibility), and then if it is done i'll see about having more options!

Thanks for the update! And, I completely understand why there's no recolour support, for now I will continue to enjoy this mod with the vanilla palette.

How in the world do you actually use this?  Why is there absolutely zero explanation for exactly how people are supposed to configure it?!

Just use the Generic Mod Configuration menu, you don't have to edit the actual .json files in your Mods folder that way. To access the GMCM, download the mod then press the cog that should appear on the left of the menu, or open the settings tab of the menu in-game, scroll to the very bottom, and press the button that says "Mod Options".
