Hi, I'm currently experiencing some financial difficulties, so I have to spend more time studying and working, which will delay the development of the SVE mod indefinitely. Thanks for understanding.
When I downloaded it via vortex on the Steam version and tried to install the mod, the installation was canceled. I couldn't confirm the detailed reason, so I answered it manually, copied it to the Mods folder, and was able to activate it. Maybe the "'" symbol is causing trouble in the vortex installation (just speculation)
Since I've seen many people struggle to make the Portrait MOD work... I've made an easier way to download it as a temporary solution until m4nchi makes the MOD come as a one-ready-to-use file.
This temporary upload packs all the content of the mod in one single file while also fixing the SMAPI LOG issue saying (Version 2.0.1 is available for update)
Hopefully, it helps some people get the Portraits to work, enjoy your game, and have fun!
Dragging directly from the compressed folder into the mods folder will cause the mod to not work.
Solution: Delete the old extracted folder and a few .json files, then use extraction software to unzip it into the mods folder named after the compressed folder.(Stupid way to add a new folder above the "Assets”folder, don't fogot the .json files) btw I’m download the new link but It says the version I downloaded is 2.0.0
it just keeps coming up with this: [SMAPI] Skipped mods [SMAPI] -------------------------------------------------- [SMAPI] These mods could not be added to your game. [SMAPI] - assets because it's not a SMAPI mod (see https://smapi.io/xnb for info).

Please, if you encounter errors, send me the SMAPI log
instructions
詳しい理由が確認できなかったので手動で解答し、Modsフォルダにコピーしたら有効化できました。
もしかしたら「’」の記号がvortexのインストールに悪さしているのかもしれません(憶測です)

Wish someone would make SVE portraits.

btw I’m download the new link but It says the version I downloaded is 2.0.0It should be done like this: ->
It should look like this: StardewValley/Mods/(YourFile)
Inside the file you created in /Mods there should be the following content :
- assets
- content.json
- manifest.json
(You can remove the ReadMe as it's not necessary to keep it)
Then open the game, and make sure it's activated, it should work now :)!
(Also if you get the problem that says version 2.0.1 is available for update, edit the manifest.json's version and save it, that should fix it)
