LockedStickyHey, I forgot to add the key last time, so the updates weren't tracked, but now I've fixed it. Don't forget to install the new version.
Please, if you encounter errors, send me the SMAPI log
instructions -
LockedStickyHi, I'm currently experiencing some financial difficulties, so I have to spend more time studying and working, which will delay the development of the SVE mod indefinitely. Thanks for understanding.

Since I've seen many people struggle to make the Portrait MOD work...
I've made an easier way to download it as a temporary solution until m4nchi makes the MOD come as a one-ready-to-use file.
-> You can get it here: Easier Download
This temporary upload packs all the content of the mod in one single file while also fixing the SMAPI LOG issue saying (Version 2.0.1 is available for update)
Hopefully, it helps some people get the Portraits to work, enjoy your game, and have fun! -
This is my favorite portrait mod!

Best portraits ever. Glad to see it maintained again.
Wish someone would make SVE portraits. -
Dragging directly from the compressed folder into the mods folder will cause the mod to not work.
Solution: Delete the old extracted folder and a few .json files, then use extraction software to unzip it into the mods folder named after the compressed folder.(Stupid way to add a new folder above the "Assets”folder, don't fogot the .json files)btw I’m download the new link but It says the version I downloaded is 2.0.0-
Hey can u make a tutor video 2 install this mod plz?

The assets file shouldn't be in /Mods but in the file that is supposed to be in the Mods File.
It should be done like this: ->- open the .zip file
- Then create a file in StardewValley/Mods/
- Name it as you wish - for me, it was: Anime Portraits
- Then copy the content of the MOD inside that file you just created.
It should look like this: StardewValley/Mods/(YourFile)
Inside the file you created in /Mods there should be the following content :
- assets
- content.json
- manifest.json
(You can remove the ReadMe as it's not necessary to keep it)
Then open the game, and make sure it's activated, it should work now :)!
(Also if you get the problem that says version 2.0.1 is available for update, edit the manifest.json's version and save it, that should fix it) - open the .zip file
