The items always get stuck inside of the hoppers instead of going through them. If I put a filter inside of a hopper, the item its supposed to filter just gets added to the 1 item put inside of the hopper, instead of going past and to the next chest.
Hey man, would it be possible to make it work with the automate path tiles?? For example, if I put a wooden path behind the hopper and it takes items from the chests linked to that path, and if I put a wooden path in front of the hopper it sends the item to the corresponding chest linked to that path
This seems to work for me, I can get it to pull from a chest and sort everything into output chests. But it "locks" the input chest so I can't add anything else to it. If I use a Junimo chest as the input I can't put things into any other Junimo chests either: all of them get "locked".
I can still take things out of a chest that's locked like this, I just can't put anything in. If I hit it with a pickaxe and bump it so it's no longer above the hopper it fixes it and I can put items in again.
I'm on mobile so that may be part of my issue. I also have Automate installed.
I have a workaround, I'm also on Android. In the config set the transfer interval to the highest it will allow, I believe mine is at 600. You may need to restart the game after making changes to the config. The chests lock every time Filtered Hoppers transfers, increasing this interval gives you time in between these transfers to move items into the chest. If you are inside the chest's inventory when the transfer happens the chest will lock, just exit the inventory and re-enter and it should be unlocked again until the next transfer.
Another quirk I've noticed which is probably Android related is that once you place down a new filtered hopper it will not work properly until you save and then force close the game. When you load back in it works fine usually. I usually try to put something in the hopper when I first place it down as well, seems to increase the chances of the hopper working properly after restarting.
The problem I'm having is that I can't put an item into the chest above a hopper. I have to move the chest away from the hopper first and then I can put an item in.
Thanks for creating great mod. This mod is a must have for Automate run. however, Vanilla Hopper only has the space of a normal-sized chest. Big Chest is introduced in 1.6. i was wondering if you have plan to make "Big" version of hopper?
I am wondering what I am doing wrong, but I cant seem to get this mod to work?
When I place down a hopper, I see no filter interface ETC like in the images - it looks just like it did before the mod was installed.
It shows in SMAPI correctly, it is in the mod config menu, but nothing.
Any ideas?
Never mind, I figured it out - Vanilla hoppers don't have an inventory. I have to place items into the hopper, then it filters for those items only as a whitelist.
im having a lot of fun making production lines with this mod, would it ever be possible to have different quality and quantity filters for different hoppers? i prefer having it on for most things, but for the ones i dont i quickly fill up the hopper with all the quality options
Hello, how can I split same item quantity to different machines?
Example: I have 15 milk, I want 10 goes to cheese press, another 5 goes to the butter churner? And only then all finished products goes to shipping bin
Could you add an option where items are only transfered if ALL conditions/items are met? Like for example I want to make truffle mayo but the mayo machines use up the eggs even if theres no truffles. With that setting i could make it that the eggs only get transfered when there are also truffles.

Anyone else have this or know a way around it?

Just my two cents after some trial and error 😀
That doesn't happen any other time.
