    Update Notes Version 2.1
Version 2.1 includes a lot of features that may change your experience:

    • Many modded machines that weren't working before will work now.  The Mill and probably other modded buildings that transform crops will work now.
    • Shipping bins work if you enable it in the settings menu!  If you do that, Junimos will tote any "Artisan goods" (cheese, mayonnaise, smoked fish, truffle oil...) to the shipping bin - 5 at a time, Junimos arms can only carry so much.  Also, Junimos won't ship anything you put in the "Shiny" list.  Feedback is welcome for this feature; I didn't enable it by default because I'm not sure it's something everybody will want.
    • Several bugs to do with the no-quest mode have been fixed.
    • The way Junimos decide where they will and will not work has been reworked.  In the old way, it was just a hard-coded list.  Now they get scared if they see a villager within 50 tiles.  On the farm, they'll get scared of Robin if she's there working on the farm.  If Robin is working on a new building, your outdoor Junimos will refuse to work, but ones inside buildings like the house, coops and sheds, will continue to work.  If you have her upgrading the coop, then the ones inside the coop won't work but the ones everywhere else will continue to work.  Junimos will always work on the Ginger Island farm.  They ignore Birdie and the tiger slimes just because I feel like they should work on in that area and folks may have already built out stuff based on how it worked before.
    • Some bugs with the "Shiny List" menu that could cause it to destroy items have been fixed.
    • Russian and Spanish translations have been added.

    Hints!

    Quick Start
    Spoiler:
    Show

Got an established farm and just want to see stuff happen?  Type this into the SMAPI window to get the quest-starter item.  (Normally you'd have to wait for the day after a rain and then go wandering around your farm trying to find this thing):

    debug item (O)Junimatic.OldJunimoPortal

That will get you started on a quest to unlock the portal.  Complete that quest and go to sleep for the night.  If you've got high skills and are friends with Linus and have a lot of animals, you'll have Marnie on your lawn the next morning and some stuff in your mailbox.  You should also head over to the Stardew Predictor to locate a slime level in the mines and look for a large slime there.

Nothing's happening.  Where are my Junimos?
The quest won't start until the day after the first rainy day after the 7th of Spring.  Then there'll be a HUD message suggesting that the rain might have washed the mud off of something.  Look around your farm.  If you're still stumped, keep an eye out for HUD messages when you warp into your farm suggesting you go see what your pet is up to.

The quest starter item is placed randomly on the farm, and alas, the infinite variety of farm types could mean that the item is placed somewhere unreachable.  If you think that's happened to you, use this command to cheat-in the quest starter item:

    debug item (O)Junimatic.OldJunimoPortal
Where do I get a "Junimo Friend"?
Villager chat will generally point the way to the things that aren't things you'll just blunder into as you advance your skills and friendship levels.  See the spoiler-text in the mod description for the details.

This mod is one of the most adorable new additions to my playthough.

Will the Playdates work with Little NPCs? It's turns the children into custom NPCs at 7am each day.

One of my favorite pre-1.6 mods was Junimo Dialog. The Junimo working the hut would occasionally say things in Junimo, or diss me cutely in textAboveHead dialogue (ie: "Isla so lazy!" and "Bored now!"). I love them having a wee personality. I do think its cute how yours emote too.

Mine also keeps coming up with an error message but seems to be working (I think):
[Junimatic] ItemRegistry.GetData failed for (O)MadDog.HashtagBearFam_FerskenPeach_GingerBeer - this could render Cask unusable to JunimosIt seems to come up anytime we add new code to the Vanilla machines.

Hi. Sorry if my suggestions are wrong, I use an auto-translator.
    I have a few questions.

    1. Can you make Junimo collect seeds and moss from trees? These are also woody and valuable resources that I intentionally grow.
    2. How to properly feed them with raisins? I connected them to the dryers, there are grapes in the chest, they make raisins, but it seems they don't eat them every day.
    3. I already have 10 hearts with Linus, I go to the secret forest every day, but the part of the quest with the greenhouses does not start. Is there a way to force it to start?
    4. Oh, and the crates in the mushroom cave! The Junimos are diligently running around and refueling the dryers. And they don't collect mushrooms from boxes. Sadness.

And thank you for this mod! It really makes the game more magical and doesn't feel like a cheat.

This is my favourite mod for SDV, but I’m having a really frustrating issue that’s forced me to disable it: placing chests and machines in cabins makes junimos steal (ie: delete lol) the outputs.

I’ve watched what happens — the junimos load the machines, then when they’re done collect the goods and “deposit” them in an imaginary chest, vanishing them out of existence. I lost so much ore, fish, and wood before I figured out what was going on 😕

    - No errors in SMAPI
    - Does not occur in the barn
    - Have tested in 2 seperate cabins with a variety of machines

I do have Upgrade Empty Cabins installed, any chance there’s a conflict there?

Figured it out! They’re getting deposited in the starting “gift” of the cabins, which I hadn’t gotten around to getting rid of yet because it needs hacks.

just noticed if you connect a fruit tree, junimos will collect the fruit even if outside, this is huge! A great discovery. I'm not sure which junimo power it is added by tho...

I absolutely LOVE this mod, its a lovely and immersive alternative to Automate and Its really such a cute and fun mod. I have some suggestions/requests/ features that you might like to think on if you feel so inclined

    1. Junimos do keep up pretty well, but if you have too many machines or play with lots of mods that add machines, they do start falling behind. Maybe add a quest to double the amount of Junimos each year at the end of the year? Perhaps for some sort of large artisan goods payment similar to the Community Centre

    2. Modded Machines. The most recent version at the time does seem to fix this, but in general just keep support for modded machines

    3. Binning skill has a lot of interactable trashcans throughout the map, would you perhaps add a Junimo that can interact with them if they're connected to Floor tiles?

    4. Foraging Junimo that goes around the map where the portal is placed and runs around and picks up forage items and berry bushes. Or at least one that picks berry bushes when floor tiles are connected

    5. Perhaps after the Community Centre is built, Junimos stop being afraid of villagers?

    6. A config Setting to modify Junimo Walking speed to make them zoom

Good Luck with the mod I hope you're able to keep it up!

      1. give them dried raisins to speed them up. not sure what the limitations are tho, like speed duration or if it works for 1 hut or a map only

      3. I like this but junimos are forest spirit, not sure they'd enjoy checking garbage bins

      4. eh I'd use possum trinket instead

      5 I like this

      6. again, raisins

I like some "qestable" or "immersive" restrictions, but i would wish for a better way to see, why Junimos are not working. Like a small popup that comes up whey you mouse is over the jumino portal:

"Junimos need a pathway to a machine and a chest."
"Junimos dont have items to process, put some items into the chest."
"Junimos dont know how to use a Worm Bin yet. Maybe you find something on your farm?" (or similar)
    "Junimos are afraid of Robin."
"Junimos can only work on your farm or in your buildings."

That's a really interesting idea.  I wonder even if it would be useful for debugging!  I'm not sure how to pull it off exactly.  A single hut could be connected to half a dozen different kinds of machines each with their own reasons for not launching a Junimo.  Another problem could be that there are pathways missing or things like that causing the Junimos not to even see some of the machines so if you just picked one machine as the one-sentence summary, it'd not really clear things up for the player.

So I think the output probably can't be as concise as one sentence.  But it could spew a novella to the SMAPI window, or in-game chat.  Maybe it could do both - throw a one-sentence summary as the hover-text and dump the rest to the log.

Would it be possible to do something like adding an informational mode that you activate by shift right clicking on a junimo hut, which highlights all the machine that specific hut is/could be working on? The machines could be color-coded, like green is a machine the hut is currently working on, yellow is a machine it could be working on but doesn't have ingredients, etc.

good idea except for controllers user. They can't even configure shiny object due to it being restricted to right click so not being able to see why it's not working is another missable feature
