    Might have a mod conflict because I don't seem to be gaining any levels past 10.

      Doesn't appear to be a mod conflict. I used only this mod plus CJB Cheats Menu. I used the latter to quickly get to level 10 in all skills, gain a lot of money, and a bunch of strawberry seeds (200). I made them insta-grow and waited for the next day. After the save, I disabled CJB and went back into the game. I harvested everything, nothing. I have spent a couple days chopping trees as well, no sign of movement on experience that I can see. So, at this point it seems to me that it's an issue with this mod specifically rather than a mod conflict. I know parts of this one work; I occasionally get the extra sap/wood/etc notice, but nothing on exp that I can see.

      The only odd note I see is that my farming level shows as green 14, but that may have been due to doing farming mastery (at another point in my test, still had CJB active, was insta-grow and harvest spamming, got mastery xp (two levels worth) but nothing skill level wise that I can see).

      Edit: Ok, this is strange, after loading back my non-test save (and all my mods again), it seems like this may be working again. I'm seeing multiple skills at greater than 10 skill level. So perhaps try creating/loading a different save, then back to your original? Dunno, will see if I am able to gain levels.

      This mod only levels you up when you sleep or load. Perhaps that is the issue?

      Walk of Life was the mod that was problematic for me. Once I removed it, I was able to go past lvl 10.

    I liked the idea of levelling forever but... I don't like that my fishing rod bar also gets bigger every level.. Fishing is no challenge anymore :(

      I'll Also mention the Fishing Made Easy (27814) which allows you to make things more difficult as well. Nothing wrong with YAFM if it works for you, but FME has more customization; addons for SVE, Ridgeside, More New Fish, etc; and the author also has customization suites for Farming and Combat that are fully compatible.

    Hi there, i use this mod and it really good. But i see only fishing skill can increase bonus after level up, and farming, foraging, mining, combat seem like it doesn't give any bonus after level up, just reduce energy use in tools.
    I suggest some ideas.
    -Combat level give 3 options for player: slightly increase atk, def or max health after level up.
    -Foraging slightly boost trees growth speed, tapper products sell price, faster aging quality for fruit trees.
    -Mining increase magnetism, chance found higher gemstones quality, explosion range for all explosive items.
    -Farming increase crops growth speed, higher sell price for artisan goods and reduce processing time for machinery.
    with some above recommend requests, this mod will be more enjoyable.

      This is somewhat incorrect. The levels still grant their relevant proficiencies and passive per-level bonuses; Farming still increases the general quality of harvested crops and reduces stamina use of watering cans and hoes; Fishing still increases the bar size and reduces stamina use of fishing, as well as speeding up bite times and increasing minimum fish size. The only skill that doesn't seem to do anything at all is Combat.

      Since there aren't professions after level 10 (without using Prestige mod), giving choices after level 10 isn't practical.

      For Combat, I suggest giving a flat 2 HP per level, ideally configurable, since the skill itself doesn't do anything in vanilla but gate recipes and professions.
      For Foraging, buffing the growth rate of trees alone would be plenty if it's possible.
      For Mining, increasing the quality rate of gemstones sounds amazing, again if it's even possible.
      For Farming and Fishing, though, I think they are plenty fine as is; even at Farming 20, you get a 50/50 rate of Gold/Other crops without any kind of Quality fertilizer, assuming max vanilla luck (high luck day, two luck rings, luck statue blessing, lucky/farming food). Slap on Deluxe Quality, and you're cooking. For machine processing time, I suggest Combine Machines mod coupled with Automate.

    Level Extender has stopped being updated, so we are very thankful for this mod.
    However, I have a few requests.
    -I would like to be able to toggle the display of the add acquisition popup. This is a problem that the original Level Extender was also criticised for!
    -I would like to see support for BinningSkill, LuckSkill and Archaeology skills.
    If these are improved, it would be a perfect mod!

    After extensive testing using the console in my 200-mod modpack, I can definitely confirm that:


    -It does work

    -You do need to sleep for any changes due to your level increase to take hold (especially past level 10)

    -The xp numbers that happen when doing tasks stop appearing after you reach level 10, but you are still gaining more experience. use Abilities - Experience Bars 1.6 to track your progress in real time (as the author of this mod mentioned a while ago) (the vanilla skill menu will only show your current level, not the detailed experience progress)

    -It's... going to take a while for any serious gains. There isn't an exact formula for the vanilla numbers and I have no Idea what the xp curve for this mod is, but it's actually steeper (I think) than the original mod. The fishing levels that took for me to get a fishing bar (the green part) to fill up the whole fishing pole was around 60, but the experience it took to reach level 60 was well over 2 million xp, about 150 times the xp it takes to reach level 10. (Edit: unless the original mod was saying that getting from level 99 to 100 alone took 1.2 million XP lol. That feels more like the curve I felt while I was testing out this mod as well)

    Pick a mod that increases your xp gain, or prepare for the grind, it seems. (I do wish there will eventually be a config option to let us control the xp curve with this mod, but for now our options lie elsewhere)

    Working perfectly for me, it just takes awhile to level up- which I'm perfectly okay with! Thank you for this mod!
