Could somebody briefly explain me how the $ place holders work? Like ik they are for seasons, name of characters, etc. But can someone either provide me a forum explaining this or just explain all of these place holders?

I followed the format of the files here, but I keep getting a message in SMAPI that says the asset wasn't loaded because my "Content Field" is empty. I put the information in the content.json inside my mod folder, it's not an empty file; is there somewhere else I should be putting this info?

I actually have a problem, the dialog I wrote one for spring to bee seen only during first year aren't triggered and instead the game read the random pool. I don't understand what I did wrong since I got 0 error...
Could you help me please?

Thank you SO MUCH for this tutorial!!! Sometime before you posted this, I was translating the entire game and actually gave up after a few weeks due to how horrible it was working with all the xmb files, packing and unpacking constantly, in fact I got so frustrated with it I quit playing Stardew for a long time. But with your tutorial I can skip a ton of that effort! And I had no idea how the dialogue was really working either, now I can even add my own new stuff in when I translate if I want. Now I can finally finish that translation!!
