Hello!
After making my Geto Suguru mod, a cute idea suddenly popped into my head and I would never forgive myself if I didn't make it a reality-- so here it is! This is my first time making this type of mod, so please let me know if there's anything wrong!
I'm only able to add Gojo and Geto for now (because I've been running back and forth between learning and drawing and sobbing), but of course, I'm thinking of adding more cats soon especially if many people are interested in this mod! :D
Both Gojo and Geto are ADOPTABLE and PURCHASABLE, which means they can be chosen at the beginning of your new game (in the starting menu once you've put the files in the mod folder) and you can purchase (an infinite amount of them even) at Marnie's!
They also DO NOT replace any cats in-game, so you can have all the vanilla cats and these two chonky bois.
I'll have to warn you, though... they are CHONKY. I mean, they are huge. Their models are much bigger than in-game normal cats so I suggest you upgrade your house first before adopting one or both of them (LMAo)
Now, I will give you a brief introduction to the kitties!
Even as a cat, he is still loaded. When you have built enough friendship with him, there is a small chance of him giving you gifts!
The possible gifts are as follows:
1. Gold ore (don't ask me where or how he found it)
2. Amethyst (again, don't ask me where or how he found it)
3. Miner's Treat (even as a cat, he likes sweets and would like to share them with you <3)
4. Bat Wing (I guess all cats just like to hunt bats or something)
5. Maple Bar (this is his favorite, apparently)
6. Rabbit Foot and duck feather (special gifts, even to SDV characters!)
He takes naps all the time (yes, seriously, because I changed the licking part of the OG SDV cat sheet to him napping while sitting like a chonky baby)
There is a high chance he will occupy your bed every night since I made the chance for him to sleep on your bed at night higher. He'll take all the space he wants to, but he's cute so it's okay right?
Compared to cat Gojo, cat Geto is more composed and well-behaved. He takes little naps and frequently grooms himself! (what a good boy)
The possible gifts are as follows:
1. Life Elixir (he secretly worries when you go out to the mines alone. Of course he won't admit it)
2. Aquamarine (he just likes this one)
3. Coral (sometimes, he brings it home by accident)
4. Bat Wing (yeah, he's probably copying Gojo)
5. Void Essence (he goes out hunting frequently and brings you souvenirs!)
6. Rabbit Foot (he's just so sweet by nature)
7. Tea Leaves (he likes to chew on them and thinks you would like that too)
1. Install SMAPI
2. Install Content Patcher
3. Install this mod
4. Unzip the folder
5. Look inside and move the one that has [CP] as title into your Stardew Valley mods folder
6. Run the game using Stardew Modding API
