how do I enable the modded content? I see the config and I can choose either off or a day of the week but in the file there is something about channel ID and a +2 I'M not sure I understand. Can you explain that?
Really the only thing to change is the Day of the week from False to a day of the week represented by the First 3 letters of the Day: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun - I think you can technically set both on the same day or set them to "AllDays" if you want to see them 'most' days. There are some bugs that don't actually show them on all days, haha.
The mod id +X is just so I can keep track of each of the channels internally and don't need to be changed and the methodology is set so they the can't overlap with internal channels or other mods. Hopefully, the custom TV channels will allow for more than one set of custom TV channels and some actual config files. Right now only Vanilla and East Scarp is available.
I did enjoy learning more and more about the expansions NPC's and have time set aside to add Ridgeside Village next weekend.
I have some ideas about more gossip, but I don't speak English well, so I can only use the translation tool to give u some advice 1. Lewis's lucky purple shorts can be placed in a luau soup, even on a fishing bait. 2. Every year on the 17th of spring, a rainbow and a bag containing a leprechaun hat and some money appear in the waterfall next to the Hat Mouse store. 3. The eve before the Winter Star Festivals, Winter 24 th, you can put milk, large jug of milk, goat's milk, large jug of goat's milk or biscuits on the table. The next morning it will be replaced with the mystery box 4. On the 28th of any season, at 12:00 p.m., stir the bush north of the Pelican Town Playground slide ，you can get a Junimo stuffed animal (furniture). 5. Fishing in certain places will give you certain furniture
Hey, I felt like the 2 choice given after a rumor did not fit well. If/When you release an update, please change the lines at the end of content.json from "Select1" : "Nice!", "Select2" : "Say Again!"
to "Select1" : "Enthralling! I'll take it.", "Select2" : "That’s a wrap on whispers"
I don't know if I could add more lines for rumors so I'll leave my suggestion to that for now, cheers!

Maybe you can consider giving access to this channel not on everyday basis, so gossip girl will run out of new things to say more slowly? (Also Vincent has a crush on Penny, not at Jas, to which he himself admits. I know gossip isn't meant to be truthful but still - having a crush for a teacher is more common at this age I believe)
at first I thought it was a casual fan of gossip girl tv show adding new channel of real life shows in the game. Then I saw the picture and realized those are in-game tips in the form of gossips and rumors and OMFG that's genius!!!
you could almost make a compilation of every trivia bits from the wiki or majority of mods posted in the reddit group r/starvalleyTIL and format them so they can be added in the mod too!
Thanks for checking it out. I will definitely be looking out for inspiration to add more gossip. As time permits, I would like to add some content for other expansions as well.
Right? Add a requirements for stardew expanded or ridgeside and you'll have more opportunities to add for the channels. Heck, might as well add a small item representing the expansion mod as a decoration next to the character to represent the next gossip is about a mod
