Livestock Choices - Livestock Bazaar also allows choosing alternate purchase directly. The main difference is that Livestock Bazaar DOES NOT make void and golden chicken purchasable, but a content pack can do so if they wished. I've made one such content pack.
Bulk Animal Purchase - Livestock Bazaar's second page remains as long as there is room and money to purchase another animal, allowing you to make a large number of purchases quickly. The lack of a numeric counter is design choice, to let you confirm which building and perhaps name the animal.

This is an incredible quality of life improvement to animal purchasing and placement - it gets so cumbersome with the vanilla UI, especially the slow annoying glide over maps to select the building to put the animal in. Thank you for this! Do you suppose you'd ever be able to make a similar icon-based menu for constructing new farm buildings via Robin? With mod buildings, especially various decorative ones, that menu gets super irritating to use, having to click through thirty things to find the thing you want. Oh I see you've addressed making improved UI for item shops someday....super hope you find time for it. The shop and building interfaces were really not designed for the sheer quantity of items and buildings mod creators ended up bringing to the game.
Buildings is another someday thing. It's difficult to not have the UX of panning around farm for that one (you have to pick somewhere to put building), so I don't know what a better menu would look like atm.

Yeah I don't think there's any way around the slow panning around farm experience for selecting where to put your building, but specifically I'd just really love a better UI for selecting which building to build in the first place! Something that shows icons of all the available buildings to construct like your shop menu or this mod, where you pick the thing from an easy to navigate menu, and if it's a building upgrade, you can maybe bypass the slow farm panning feature, and have something like the animal housing selection from this mod. Like selecting your barn to upgrade from a list of your available barns instead of needing to pan to it on the map etc.
This warning is for mod authors, since missing texture would make their farm animal not function as expected, as for finding out what mod adds Hare, you will have to give me a log. Do ”patch export Data/FarmAnimals" too
So I'm having a bit of an issue. I've validated that the mod is running, and the menu shows up when I go to purchase an animal from Marnie. Unfortunately, every option is greyed out (indicating there's not enough gold to purchase the animals) despite having enough gold.
I went in a double checked, turns out I had no free space in my buildings! Sold a couple of animals just to make sure, now I am able to purchase again. I'd forgotten my coop was full -facepalm-
Aside from that, everything's looking fine and operating as intended. I love the updated interface for Marnie's shop, and any modded animals tend to display nicer than in vanilla! :3 Especially love being able to choose which type of each animal and being able to name them from the menu. It's a lot less clunky feeling than vanilla.
This mod has been a must since I started my super modded stardew gameplay. Buying animals is now a breeze. My pain in the butt now is robin's building menu for I have installed too many mods that adds buildings to the game. Does anyone know any mods that changes robin's shop menu like this?

I have a rather sizeable mod load, and stumbled upon a minor "disturbance" (so insignificant that I'd not even call it an issue), but I thought I'd mention it since I didn't come across it anywhere else in the posts/bugs.
I've swapped from self serve to self check-out as mentioned for compatibility, and it works fine, just that when I interact with the animal shop when Marnie's away, I have to press the 'Purchase Animal' option twice before it opens. (First press the screen briefly flashes, second press the menu opens). Really, just a minor inconvenience.
So far I tried:

Loading the game with self-checkout and not Livestock Bazaar + StardewUI. The double press did not occur.
Toggling Marnie shop overwrite on and off. No Change.
Directly opening the shop menu when Marnie is manning the counter. Worked Flawlessly.
Testing other shops (including the 'Supplies Shop' at the animal shop) with self-checkout. No similar occurrence.
If you have any suspicions I'll readily avaliable to test them out and report back. However, would you deem it to insignificant (which it kinda is) to deserve you attention, the pros far FAR outweighs this minor con.
Can you see if this still happens if you 1. Turn off marnie in the self-checkout gmcm 2. Read the animal catalog book (this is a vanilla item that you can spawn)
Edit: confirmed to be a small conflict with self-checkout, have informed the author.

This mod doesn't do anything about vanilla shop schedules. You still need to read the book or use another mod that change shop schedule if you want to buy from marnie all the time.
Heya! I'm getting a warning for an invalid texture - it's actually from my Eggs-otic Creatures mod, which doesn't have any purchasable animals (they have to be hatched.) Is there something I can do on my end to prevent this?
I love this mod and the user interface. In the future, if you want to extend the UI for other stores, that would be the best UI ever. thanks for you hard work <3

[Livestock Bazaar] Got invalid Texture on farm animal: Hare
I get this error message every time I start my game.
But unfortunately I dont know which mod adds Hare as farm animal.
+ I got a letter from Marnie in which she tells me that I can buy a Shevit (Passerby Cemetery mod), but I cant see it in the shop.

Shevit is a pet, not a farm animal
