About this mod
This mod adds Quinn, a new custom NPC. This mod includes 6 heart events that change according to the route the player has chosen(Community Center or JojaMart) plus 4 other extra events sprinkled throught the gameplay. Quinn has changes in schedule that reflect her character development and even her own Spouse Portrait!

Installation
1 - Download and install SMAPI;
2 - Download Content Patcher and drop it into the 'StardewValley/Mods' folder;
3 - Download the latest mod file from the official mod page at nexus.com;
4 - Unpack and drop the folder '[CP] Jakk's Quinn - v 1.0.0a - PRE-RELEASE' into the 'StardewValley/Mods' folder;
- You're good to go!
- GenericModConfig isn't a dependency but it's a very helpful tool :)) More details about configs later on.
IMPORTANT!!! TRIGGER WARNING.
Quinn's story deals with themes of anxiety and depression. There's also mention of struggles with an diagnosis and a single homophobic comment made by a non-permanent NPC during her 14 hearts event if you're playing as a female farmer. The content of this mod is VERY SIMILAR TO VANILLA CONTENT. The discussion of mental health matches the tone used with Shane in the base game and the homophobic comment matches the 'severity' of those made by Alex or George.
OVERVIEW
>> Quinn is a villager in Pelican Town who's moved in to work on Joja Corporation's Community Development Project as a last chance to keep her carrer at Joja. At first, Quinn is very kind and energetic, but as players befriend her, she opens up about her struggle with burnout.
She lives in Emily and Haley's House and can be hard to find at first, since she spends most of her time working at JojaMart. However, she spends most of her free time outdoors.
Quinn's Birthday is the 28th of Fall and she has no family in Pelican Town. Her closest friends are her roomates, mainly Emily. She doesn't visit Harvey's Clinic at all.

SCHEDULE

>> Quinn works at JojaMart most days, but you'll be able to catch her hanging out in different places throughout the Valley after work and every weekend.
- SPRING: Quinn visits the Beach after work on weekdays and the Saloon on Friday nights. On Saturdays she visits the Beach and meets up with Willy and Elliot near the Town river at the end of the afternoon before heading to the Saloon. On Sundays, she likes to relax with a book in hand in the Cindersap Forest, and end the night at the Saloon once again.
- SUMMER: Same as Spring.
- FALL: Same as Spring, except she visits the Mountain on Saturdays and somewhere secret on Sundays.
- WINTER: Quinn visits the Saloon instead of the Beach after work. She spends her Saturdays at the library and her Sundays at the BathHouse.

TO-DO AND KNOWN BUGS
Known Bugs:
- If you've already bought Quinn's portrait, it'll disappear. I had to mess with the item id. You can now obtain it from the travelling cart or by running the command 'debug furniture JakkQuinnPortrait' on your SMAPI pannel.
- Quinn's portrait might be missing one of its pieces when you first update the mod. This is mostly because of the new configs, so sleeping or forcing the mod to update by changing the configs using GenericModConfig will fix that. If it doesn't, let me know!
- Quinn does not stay for the main event in the Ice Festival(shows up only at the start).
!!!> Please report any schedule conflicts if you happen to find any! I've tested Quinn's schedule but I made some changes and I haven't finished re-testing it yet.

Plans moving foward
This might be a bummer of a section to this page.
I'm a full time student and college is really demanding. v1.0.0 took me a whole year in and of itself, so it's unlikely Quinn will get any majo content updates anytime soon.
I will try to keep up with grame-breaking bugs or compatibility issues, since these can be fixed much quicker. I have big ideas for new content updates but those will most likely only come in July or August(2025).
I am so very glad that this mod has been so unbelievably well-recieved. It truly warmed my heart to recieve so much appreciation for something that I poured a lot of my soul into.

COMPATIBILITY AND SOFT REQUIREMENTS
- Should be compatible with most mods, except mods that change the maps or some other mod that adds another NPC also named Quinn.
- Compatibility with SVE is here! There isn't a lot of new content for SVE players BUT Quinn now shows up properly in festivals and her events have been fixed to work in the new modded maps.
- Compatible with GoldenGlow. Quinn's movement might look a little wonky(She TPs to the middle of the House when leaving her room instead of just going down the stairs), and she doesn't interact with Susie at all, but at least now you can play with both of them installed.
Generic Mod Config Menu by spacechase0: makes everything easier. Seriously, this is an incredible tool to change configs.
Gender Neutrality Mod Tokens by Hanatsuki: allows you to pick your pronouns + fully customize a bunch of words Quinn may use to refer to the farmer.
