Hello!
I'm kittycate, and I'm so happy you were interested enough in my mod to click on it! <3

So, I love the Forest Farm. It's without question my favorite farm map aesthetically, but...it also has one of the smallest farming areas. Added to this, the fences marking the map borders make the forest glen feel much tamer than I like. I kept noticing little things I didn't like about it, and didn't see any mods that changed them without also notably changing the vibe of the map that I love so much. So I learned to mod maps in Stardew and made this.

It removes most fences and shrubs; pushes most map borders further out (doesn't change map size); removes the stone under the spouse area, warp statue, and Grandpa's grave; moves the spouse area to the divot in the tree-line to the right of the Northern exit; removes the cliffs surrounding the Northern exit, replacing them with fencing; moves the farm cave next to Grandpa's grave; pushes the cliff that Grandpa's grave is against back by one tile; removes all ponds replacing them with one large decorated pond to the Southeast; removes the massive section of grass that jutted down directly South of the warp statue; removes the path in front of the house that led to the shipping bin; adds more grass on the Southern portion of the map to make the growing area feel more contained; adds another hidden path from Grandpa's grave to the upper hardwood area for easier navigation; and changes the fishing to be exactly like the Mountain Lake. There are also other smaller changes, but I'll leave those for you to notice.

Obviously, this mod makes the map...very powerful. I plan to make a nerfed version as well in a future update for anyone that feels this offers too much.

Manual Installation
As with any other Stardew mod, unpack the mod into your mods folder so that it reads as so (if you have Steam)C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods\Natural Forest Farm
Make sure it does not look like this
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods\NaturalForestFarm_vers1-0-0\Natural Forest Farm
If it does look like that, the map will have a layout according to this mod but shrubs, rocks, trees, and entrance/ exit locations will be in their vanilla positions (which is unplayable).

Troubleshooting & Compatibility
As this is the first mod I've ever made (for any game), I wouldn't be entirely surprised if some problems arise. If any occur, I am sorry and I will do everything I can to fix them.

Luckily for us, this mod doesn't actually change that much compared to other mods. It just replaces the original forest farm map for this one (using vanilla tiles), so it doesn't change any menus, characters, textures, buildings...what I'm saying is that this should be compatible with all mods as long as they don't specifically modify the forest farm map or starting building locations.

I specifically checked DaisyNiko's Earthy Recolour and Elle's Seasonal Buildings, and as far as I can tell they both function beautifully in every season. (Note that as this was made for patch 1.6, it uses the curved tiles that were added in the update. This will cause problems with retextures made for older versions of the game, but I think that would occur all over the world.)

Credits
The images shown for this mod use DaisyNiko's Earthy Recolour and Elle's Seasonal Buildings, and I strongly recommend you use them with this mod.
As with any Stardew Mod, it is also entirely dependent on SMAPI and Content Patcher by Pathoschild, without which this mod wouldn't exist.
And finally, as my modifications aren't that major, the primary credit for this map obviously still lies with ConcernedApe. I also don't think my version is better, just different.
