There's a config for it in Little NPCs.

Probably? I did not make the mod with people divorcing him in mind so there will be a lot of un-immersive dialogue and Sterling mentions if you do.

It's so sad to have such a great mod for a dude. I don't want to marry a dude

Growing valley includes kids for Leah, Penny, and Emily. Marry one of them.

Hello and Happy Easter if that's your thing. I am having issues with using this mod :(

I keep receiving an error while trying to launch the game with SMAPI

    "[SMAPI]    Skipped mods
    [SMAPI]    --------------------------------------------------
[SMAPI]       These mods could not be added to your game.
[SMAPI]       - Always Raining in the Valley 1.6.0 because it requires mods which aren't installed (skellady.SBVCP).
[SMAPI]       - Always Raining in the Valley kids 1.6.0 because it needs the 'Always Raining in the Valley' mod, which couldn't be loaded.
    "

I would love to play this mod so if anyone knows how I can fix this it'd be much appreciated !!

Hello friend! Your log is telling you the issue.
ARV isn't installing because you don't have Sunberry Village installed.
ARV kids isn't installing because ARV isn't properly installed.

Install Sunberry Village and the issue should be fixed!

I absolutely love this but the only thing in my mind in that one meme, "9 months in my womb making me suffer, and they look just like their stupid dad"

SOMEONE SAID THIS ON TUMBLR AND IT SENT ME. YOU'RE SO RIGHT. IT'S SO TRUE.
  7. Congrats for the mod release!

One question: Since this uses Growing Valley/LittleNPC (which doesn't have compatibility with Polyamory), does that mean this mod is incompatible with Polyamory either?

    Godspeed and thank you

ARV is incompatible with Polyamory Sweet in the first place!
Neither ARV nor this pack will break your game if you use them with PS but PS messes with NPC behavior so I can’t really offer support or troubleshooting with it. Bugs are to be expected! And as for the kids, I think so long as you only have 2 it’s fine and then it starts getting weird.
    2. Oh damn I didn’t know PS bugs NPC behavior in general, I never got any issue personally but maybe I’m just lucky (or didn’t notice).

Thanks for the response boss! o7

When I saw the new mod, I knew in my heart I had to get it, especially since I just started a new save file. This time, I finally decided to pursue Sterling. Ahhh, I can’t wait to use this mod! You did an amazing job, HimeTarts!P.S. Is there a way to change the kid's hair color? I'd love for one of the kids to have the same hair color as my farmer!

I'm so happy! I hope you enjoy the mod, thank you for the kind words ❤
Only way to change the kids hair color would be to manually do it through an art program! Unfortunately the choice for me was either customizable kids or a ton of outfits, and I preffered the latter one, haha!

My recommendation if you don't already have an art program is using Aseprite. It's free if you compile it yourself, and it lets you replace one color for another. Otherwise, there are online tools that I believe let you change one palette for the other.

Hello! Just discovered this mod and had a few questions. I want to use this mod but I have already married sterling and have one toddler stage child with him. Can I still use this or will it mess things up? Do I have to essentially start over to get the full experience?

Hi friend! The way Little NPCs works is, after a certain number of days of your children being born (I believe its editable in a config) the kids will age up into the NPCs featured in this mod. All content begins after that happens, so there's no other full experience pre-grow up to enjoy. You're right in time for it!

That said, I recommend reading up on Little NPCs just to fully understand how it works ❤

Hello! Congratulations on the release first and foremost!

I'm really sorry to be bothering you with this already, however, smapi keeps giving me an error saying that ARV kids and Growing Valley content packs are conflicting with each other. From what I can understand it seems like they're fighting over who modifies the child NPC which causes an error. I made sure to redownload everything and tried again to see if it would be fixed but the error still persisted. here is my smapi log!

Thank you for this mod and for your time!

Hi friend! Thank you for the report. Just to rule out a few things, did this happen right away after install, or did it work for a little while and then began conflicting?

      upon installation, the error appeared so I restarted the game (exit from desktop) and it loaded properly for one day. However once I sleep and go to the next day, the error appeared again and continues to appear from then on ^^;

I passed this along to the creator of Growing Valley, since he's the one a lot more familiar with how the code that tells the game to overwrite GV's kids with mine works. Disable it for now but I will keep you posted, since that shouldn't be happening. Thank you for the patience ❤
