the mod is really cute, but i just felt like bringing this to your attention. esk*mo is actually a really offensive slur to indigenous people of alaska/surrounding regions. idk if thats just the name of the breed thats commonly used, but i personally would avoid using it.
Hi there. I'm aware of the issue with the word, though yes that is indeed the name of the breed, and it doesn't have an alternate name to my knowledge (but I don't know much about dog breeds). If you personally know anyone who is Inuit/Yupik/Alaskan native etc I would be interested to know what they think of the term when used for the breed.
probably not much. i live near the Song Dog Kennels (famously the only kennel in the world that breeds authentic American Indian Dogs - if you can see where im going with this) and all of the personnel involved are of course native american to at least some degree. they have no interest in changing the breed's name, and in fact are somewhat defensive about it.
but hey, that's them. they're not the northern tribes.

Hi! This might be a bit of a stupid question, but I'm new to modding (and Stardew!) and was wondering if this mod works fine in multiplayer? I was considering the 1.6 'cuter animals' mods instead, but I play with someone who doesn't use mods and I want to avoid having to change the config every time I switch between solo/multi. Thank you!
Not a stupid question, but if there was an issue in co-op I'd have a warning in my description as I do for the newer mods. This mod just replaces the default sprites, so it's fully clientside and will cause no issues if used by only one person.
