3/24/22- A Toned Down Stardew Valley is currently unavailable. I don't know if its gone forever or if its just being revamped for the new content. This mod WILL run without it but know the colouring on certain items will not be the same.
9/3/23: Due to a major health issue I am not doing any mod work. If you have an issue you can post about it and I will try to offer suggestions, but if you need changes (ie warps are off in a mod) please go to the Stardew Valley discord and ask for help in the modding section. You can refer them back to this message for permission to fix things.
3/19/24- I have updated the main file for patch 1.6 if you are using the specialized maps for Raffadax you will need to download the main file and drag/drop the manifest and content.json into your current mod folder so you have the current versions.
Would like to update people on how to use this mod with Stardew Valley Expanded as I find this Greenhouse to be absolutely gorgeous! :)
There's two different ways you can use this with SVE. Because of this mod having seasonal greenhouse tile sheets it means the map for the greenhouse is meant to change with each season. The only downside with that is if you want the open map with no fences that SVE offers it won't work with a changing season greenhouse due to file names.
If you like the fenced map with paths that you can get with SVE then no biggy; just follow the instructions here for Pookachu's Seasonal Greenhouse. https://github.com/FlashShifter/StardewValleyExpanded/wiki/Troubleshooting#custom-greenhouse-interiorsexteriors-if2r and you'll be all set to go.
Now if you DO like the map without the fences and the paths that SVE offers (which I personally find it to have more freedom of placing items/buildings around your farm without the fences, paths and just looks nicer) this is what you do;
-Download Pookachus Seasonal Greenhouse's latest version. -Download Stardew Valley Expanded's; Immersive Farm 2 Remastered file (latest version). -Unzip both folders (It's good to have an Extraction Folder in your Mods folder so you have ease of access to things you're unzipping if you have a lot of other mods, this makes it easier to find folders.) -In the assets folder in [CP] Pookachus Seasonal Greenhouse folder you'll want to pick a greenhouse.tbin file and rename it. With this method however your greenhouse will not change with each season but stays the same season as whichever one you choose (ie, summer, winter, fall, spring). However you CAN change it should you get bored with the previous scheme. -So in my case I chose to rename the greenhouse_spring.tbin to greenhouse.tbin, all the other seasonal .tbins you can sent aside for later or just delete if you don't plan on changing to layout. -You'll then move the file you renamed, 2cute, Craftables, Craftables_outdoors, & greenhouse_tiles2 into the overrides folder in [CP] Immersive Farm 2 Remastered's folder. (Once you've moved everything you can delete the [CP] Pookachus Seasonal Greenhouse altogther) -Make sure if you haven't that you set NoStaticFencesAndDirtFarmLayout to true in the "content" file inside [CP] Immersive Farm 2 Remastered's folder for the freelayout farm that SVE offers. -That should be it, the inside of your greenhouse should look like the season you picked from Pookachu's mod and you still get to keep your No Static Fences and Dirt farm layout for SVE :)
Hello is it possible to alter this greenhouse to make it replace another mod's greenhouse? Like how ridge side has two greenhouses it it possible to replace one with this mod? it's okay if that's too much to work on but do you know how to do it when i look up ways to do it, i just gets map editor tutorials no coding
You would have to do it within that mod. Its usually something like take the items from this mod's asset folder and put it in the other mod making sure any name changing is done as needed.
But your assets have many things besides the greenhouse tile sheets would changing the map target to the mod map and placing your mod into the mod folder have a similar affect?
i'm not sure the effect it would have i just know if you don't put the pngs in that are needed for my mod it will throw errors and not load. Sorry I don't have a better answer for you but I haven't been playing (or designing) lately and I've never used any mod that gives two different greenhouses.
Thanks for your reply, yesterday I checked sve's config file and I have solved the problem. I really like your greenhouse module and hope you can update it.
I adore your work on these expanded greenhouse and cellar mods!
So, I kinda have to ask, have you considered making custom sheds yet? I'm also a huge Automate user, and I'd love to see what you'd come up with for a crazy shed layout for use with it.
Gonna have to try your farm layouts after i try the new 1.6 farm!
This is a GORGEOUS Greenhouse! I have been using the Medium Greenhouse but always have had to be careful of what I would put in it. I was so happy to find this one. However, I dug out the plots when I first got the greenhouse, expecting to see them watered the next morning. I use Autowatering by stellerashes and it worked with the Medium Greenhouse. I do know that the Medium Greenhouse was written after so it might be newer code, but I would love to have autowatering in this Greenhouse as well. I hate the look of sprinklers.
If there is something you could do to update this, or if the issue is with the other mod, Please do so when you get a chance.
this just changes the map i don't have any special coding so im not sure what I could do to update it. I'll ask around and see if anyone has any ideas.
I asked my eldest what she uses and got the answer of CJB Cheats Menu. Not a huge fan of that much "cheating" but maybe stellarashes has an idea that we haven't thought of. Still love the greenhouse!
Is A Toned Down Stardew Valley absolutely necessary for this mod? I like the layout for the greenhouse and it seems that A Toned Down Stardew Valley doesn't exist anymore..
it will run without A Toned Down Stardew Valley but the colours in the greenhouse won't be dark (unless you find another addon that offers the dark dirt/framing to use instead).
