There is a CP version already. I have not had a chance to check out the update so let me know if there are any issues with it. https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/4819
That one seems to be a replacer. Renesh is talking about converting this to do all things the BFAV version did - new animals, new items for the phoenix produce, custom phoenix mayo - but in Content Patcher. Can people do that with your BFAV mods?
Yes! CP can add new livestock, items, and recipes now, so we can move away from BFAV, JA, and PFM. It's all much better integrated and mods can interact with each other better! I was hoping to make a version of this for the new format. Basically update the BFAV version to the new system in SDV 1.6!
Drag00nSpirit That would be amazing if you could do that! i see you have everias dragons already converted too, so I'm downloading that too!! you are amazing !!
Have you thought about updating to add phoenix tears to the mod? Most lore of phoenix's I've seen mention their healing tears, and I think that would be a really cool addition to this mod!
I've seen this asked a few times, but never answered. Is there a solution to the phoenixes only dropping feathers and never eggs? The eggs are in the game (I can see them in item spawner), but they don't spawn. I skipped quite a few days and saw I had so many feathers - no eggs. Thanks!
ETA: They are now showing up. Not sure if it fixed itself or if what I did maybe fixed it? Either way, getting them now. :)
Hello, I love this mod as it's cute and mythical. I seem to be having problems making phoenix mayo. I don't know much about how to adjust things. Since I upgraded to the latest Smapi, I seem to get a lot of weird errors. Sorry if my smapi log looks weird.
Not sure how to share a smapi log https://smapi.io/log/6f75dfefc190484d9354c7e0b44b355d
Hello! I love your mod and I would love to keep using it, but all the phoenixes are only producing feathers, and no eggs. Is there anything I can do to my file to change this?
Hi! items dropped by fenix were not recognized, a message like this appeared: Cannot replace "641" produce: "641" is not a known Object. Will be set to "none" (-1). repeats [4] times. here the log if it helps: https://smapi.io/log/6PkzwBqY
The reason why those messages show up is that BFAV does some preliminary loading before JA does, so those items aren't loaded in the preliminary loading phase. BFAV then loads the correct IDs for the products later, after JA is done.
Yeah, if you get it after Json Assets loads, then you're having a problem.
By chance, are you running on a non-Windows system? Because I've found that most of the time, these errors are caused by case problems with the files related to Json Assets, which aren't an issue on Windows, but crop up on every other OS.
Hi, I'm running Windows. But honestly, JA is driving me NUTS. So yeah, could very well be that the problem is on their end? Le Sigh (that's a fancy French version of a sigh, it's more dramatic)

I get this error message before json assets has loaded as well as after, and my phoenixes aren't laying. Has this come up for anyone else?
