Unfortunately, I believe that I'm finally officially retiring (for real this time) from this project and making Stardew mods in general. I am very grateful for all the support everyone's given over the past few years and I was glad that people enjoyed playing with these mods. I apologize if anyone was looking forward to updates. For me it's not as fun or fulfilling to work on these anymore so I feel it's time to let go. I've actually been using my time to work on my own game project. There isn't much to show for it now, just doing some conceptual stuff, but it's been fun to work on.
If anyone would like to use this mod as a base for one or make edits etc. please feel free to! You don't have to message me or anything, I don't really have qualms with people using/editing the portraits.
Thank you again everyone, it was an interesting experience! If you're looking for a new portrait mod I actually highly recommend Nyapu's - I used it when I played a bit a few months ago and it's really charming.
No but for real, you don't have to apologize at all, you've already provided the community with a really amazing art style, just your designs alone for the villagers made me appreciate some I didn't care about a lot more because of how cute or just fun looking you made them. You've made the basegame ones and some mods, you don't really need to do anything more.
Looking forward to whatever you put out next, I'm a big fan of your art so I'd love to see it somewhere more. Cheers! -Haloway
