Hello. The mod seem to cause my game to crash/close when starting. Not sure how/why etc. Used it before and also today before it starting to cause the game to crash/close on startup.

Is the log. Any chance you could take a peek? Only thing i did in the meantime was putting my pc to sleepmode, doubt that cause the mod to break.
Hi! I don't see any error messages in that log; do you see an error in the console which suggests it's due to Skip Intro? If it happens consistently, does it still happen if you temporarily remove all mods except Skip Intro?
Suspected it because when turning Skip Intro to off(disable) it worked fine. But weirdly, now it works again fine. Not sure why it broke before but now works again. Wheat means it just my pc being extreemly weird. Lets ignore it :joy:.
I kinda miss the audio pop on startup, the silence on boot is kinda eerie now hahaha Am I going to have any compatibility issues if I revert to an older version of the mod with the pop? Or is there a way to re-enable it? Thanks for all the lovely mods and for the help :)
Whenever I open Stardew, there's an audio pop as if the music that plays over the intro plays for a fraction of a second and then the screen skips as expected with this mod to the main menu where it plays the normal main menu music. Turning the music off on the main menu has no effect between game launches. Is this an issue with Skip Intro? Here's my log, but it may be useful to know that this has been happening for years - I started playing modded in 1.5 - I've just never thought to mention it. https://smapi.io/log/fc3f835b3faa49c7bbd657c95f7aa6e6 (I'm just doing testing, so this doesn't even load a save file)
edit: deleting this mod removes the audio pop, but then the intro music is quite loud (since volume sliders only affect in game sounds) hence why I thought the pop was related to the intro music
Just to clarify my edit: I would prefer to actually use this mod, but the audio pop remains whenever I have it installed. Deleting it and then reinstalling it doesn't magically make the noise go away.
Hi! To clarify, is this button in the top-left corner what you meant by turning off music on the main menu?
If so, we could look into why that setting isn't being remembered for you (since it should persist between game launches). Can you come ask in #modded-game-support on the Stardew Valley Discord so we can help out? If you don't get an answer, feel free to ping me there with @pathoschild.
Thanks! If you play without Skip Intro, you'll hear each button pop into place one by one on the title screen (like tok tok tok tok tsh). That sound you hear is the toktsh sound of every button appearing simultaneously.
I found a way to disable the button pop-in sounds though, so that'll be fixed in the upcoming Skip Intro 1.9.18. Thanks for reporting it!
Quick Update (although I'm waaay too tired right now...): Since it tried to load the Assembly "Stardew Valley" (with a space), I copied the StardewValley.dll and threw a space in. SkipIntro is loaded now, but fails with: [09:11:47 TRACE SMAPI] Broken code in SkipIntro.dll: reference to StardewValley.Menus.CoopMenu.joinTab (no such field), reference to StardewValley.Menus.CoopMenu.hostTab (no such field), reference to StardewValley.Menus.CoopMenu.refreshButton (no such field). ... Skipped Mods: [09:11:48 ERROR SMAPI] - Skip Intro 1.9.15 because it's no longer compatible. Please check for a new version at https://smapi.io/mods
By the way... I think it worked when I launched the game the first time after installing this mod. Super weird. I'll try to research further, when I have time.
Skip Intro 1.9.15 is for Stardew Valley 1.5.6, so it should theoretically work on Android. I can't help much with Android-only issues, but you could maybe try older versions to see if one works? If another version works, I can pin that version for other players.
I don't see any error in that log. How does it crash? Does it just instantly exit the game, and if so at what point does it exit? Does it still happen if you remove all other mods temporarily, and can you post a new log if so?
@Pathoschild after further trials, I found out that the crash happened when you use "JoinCoop" and "HostCoop" option. The mod works correctly when using "Title" and "Load"
Also, rather than crashing, saying the game suddenly closed might be more proper since there are no error pop up or anything. Sorry if OP is confusing.
I have a possible fix for that in the upcoming Skip Intro 1.9.10. If you ping me using @Pathoschild#0001 in #using-mods-help on Discord, I can send you a preview build to make sure it's fixed for you.
anybody able to help with an error im getting for this? ive got the same error for about 5 other mods aswell. i have tried purging and deploying several times, it doesnt work.

Hi! Does that error happen consistently, or is it intermittent / affects different mods each time? Does it still happen if you temporarily remove PyTK?

I posted to the discord server with some added clarification so hopefully we can resolve this there.

I had learned to look away or close my eyes for the full white screen of the intro. Why do people like to be blinded?
@Pathoschild - Thx for your outstanding work, and ongoing support.

hello, this seems to be happening again in 1.9.9. Game doesn't load if I have either JoinCoop or HostCoop in my config.json
