Hello, welcome to East Scarp for 1.6. It's been a hard road getting here, and I am very, very grateful to my team for helping me along the way and especially helping me keep sane.
Beatrice is now fully integrated with East Scarp and her mod should be deleted.
If you are posting any bug reports below, please first parse your log through smapi.io and read it, looking for obvious red text messages, especially pertaining to "this mod could not be loaded because this other mod was not installed". These issues you can probably fix yourself. If you don't understand the message, please post it in the bug reports with a clear description of the issue and a link to the log. No log link? If you are unable to access the maps or NPCs are missing , this is likely not a bug with the mod - which I can assure you has been tested - but most likely an issue with your installation of the mod. You might be missing one of the requirements, or one of the requirements might need updating. Please do not use Vortex as it has a tendency to scramble files. I would recommend deleting entirely the files, then manually reinstalling them and retrying to load the save before posting a bug report.
Also, please check the bug reports before posting your own one - if a similar one already exists, commenting on that with your log will help me immeasurably.
For translators: Now fully i18n'd so you only need to translate the i18n/default.json files in each respective folder. Please let me know if I have missed anything.

I DO NOT currently offer support for Android. I am aware that East Scarp and some of it requirements may not work.It may eventually, but I myself neither play Android nor am a programmer so it is dependent on the goodwill/kindness of my friends-who-are-smarter-than-I.
If the NPCs won't get out of bed for the first day of loading a pre-1.6 save into the game, just sleep, they'll be back to normal in the morning - it just takes a day for the savefile to adjust. Can't fix it, but it's only fleeting.
If it doesn't rain in East Scarp, it's likely because you loaded the game on a rainy day and it takes a while to adjust. Play a few more days and see what happens in the next season. It can be temperamental.
Festival clashes: It's a bit Wild West out there and I'll only move my NPCs if the other character had the space first. I claimed my spots with SVE installed, so we should be compatible there, but for Y2 festivals especially, I will not be moving my NPCs. I chose my spots early, the dialogue often reflects the location, and I don't have time to constantly do the festival shuffle. If you wish to avoid a clash, see the link in my other sticky post above to find out how you can move them yourself.
Any posts reporting the same bugs as above will be deleted.
If you need to remove duplicate NPCs (from this mod or any other) please type 'Debug removeNPC (npcname)' Into the Smapi console. One should return the next time you restart the game, but you may need to cheat up their hearts. I have had no instances of duplicate NPCs in my personal game since 1.6 released but pls do report any ES ones and attach a smapi log.
Regarding Elois's father (I'm sorry I can't recall his name clearly), I remember reading some comments before that said he wouldn't become a Marriageable character. But today, when I was using CJB, I found his portrait. If I'm not mistaken, this kind of portrait was supposed to be sold on the pig cart after marriage?
Hi, I'm new to SDV modding and have been looking into expansions. I saw on a Reddit post from a few months ago that you plan to combine & re-release some of your mods sometime this year. Is that still in the works? If so I'll probably hold off on trying East Scarp till then. If not no worries, thanks for all your hard work either way!
Yes, it's well underway. I've combined all my NPCs successfully but alas have decided to add another 5. Im working on their storylines and schedules now.
Slight bug that I will report here and on the cooper family, but their house in east scarp is still popping up even though they are no longer a part of the mod.
Hey it says that the entrance to east scarp is past sharewater bridge in SVE but every time i go to enter grampleton fields it sends me back to the bridge and wont let me in, is there something to fix this?

I did want to say though, Josephine and Oliver showed up in Year 1, but the wiki says they shouldn't show up until Year 2. I have a lot of other mods though so maybe some wires got crossed. It's my first game lol
Hey, I'm pretty new in the modding scene and am sorry if this is like an obvious thing or anything but there's no NPCs for me. SMAPI says the npc couldn't be loaded because of a missing the "DecidedlyHuman.MappingExtensionsAndExtraProperties" mod. I looked in Nexus but couldn't find any with that name so I just gonna come to the expert.
It may just be me, cause I searched and didn't see anyone mention this using the search function, but I got Mateo's event "SnS.Ch1.Mateo.2" event during the day, but the dialogue seems to reflect it should be at night in front of the Museum. The music also helps solidify in my mind that this should be at Night instead of Day, so I didn't want to make an official Bug post without inquiring if anyone else had also experienced this.
EDIT: Finally played through the event; Definitely is supposed to be at Night, but I got it during the day. I guess there's a missing check for the time of day? This was Year 1, Summer, Day 14 at 5PM.
Nice mod! I just have a few questions. I already have East Scarp and some other mods active like RSV and SVE. I'm already on Year 2, married, no kids yet, already calico, no Ginger Island nor community complete. - If I add now some East Scarp addons, will the game break or all cutscenes, events will happen normally? Is there any add-on NPC who arrives later like Kent does, and in that case, how would it behave if I add the mod now on Year 2? - Regarding the mod that adds the two girls of the Scarp Crossing vineyard, how will it work if there is also SVE? I know the zone is still accessible, but only via minecarts, will the two NPCs still live in their houses? - Where is the Deep Mountains located, and what can be done there? - Is the abandoned mine just a fishing spot or there is more? - you can add on later. Two NPCs will arrive in the first winter after installation, all other later game NPCs are unlocked through story. Additional NPCs are either there from the start or unlocked through progression either by season or story. - juliet and jessies house is behind the community center with sve. The hidden map is just for forage. - north. More fishing, tree farm, forage, additional npc. - just fishing atm.
I've been using East Scarp for less than a year, but I already can't imagine my game without it. This little community has become as essential to me as the base game. I love the characters, with Aideen and Victoria being my particular favourites, and the town itself adds so much life to the game! And, of course, the collaborative nature of the town has given rise to some amazing standalone npcs, none of which would be the same without this little town to live in and these great established characters to bounce off of. You've done amazing work!
