For anyone considering whether they should download this mod:
In my humble opinion, this is one of the best NPC expansions you'll find for any game, anywhere. They fit seamlessly into the game as if they belonged there all along, not to mention that they interact with a BUNCH of other mods if you have other mods installed.
Juliet will make you feel every emotion under the sun (even if you don't romance her). A mixture of a vulnerable young adult with a tough history and a sassy exterior facade she uses to protect herself, she's fun and funny, but her story and the way she tells it is heartbreakingly beautiful. As someone who's had things in their history that align with her, she really moved me to tears more than once. One of the best characters I've ever experienced in a game, let along a mod.
Jessie is such a big hearted character who will make you question your choices and decisions with her huge capacity for empathy and love. Always ready with a kind word and a smile, she's like a warm cocoa on a cold night, just gently adding warmth and love wherever she goes.
Lemur's characters and writing are always amazing, but these are the pinnacle in this player's little opinion, and I thought I should share it with everyone.
These are the first 2 NPCs I add to any playthrough (closely followed by Mr Ginger, Jean and Jorts (cos cats, also great mods))
I don't see why she (Juliet, I'm guessing) wouldn't be. I've not had any complaints prior and married her myself in 1.5 with Free Love installed. Was also married to Sophia. It worked fine.
Man, not gonna lie. I'm kicking myself that I only found this mod after I finish the CC.
Is there any way for me to experience all the events (other than starting a new save)? I don't mind if I have to do some tweaks, or if the storylines happen in abandoned Jojamart (with the cutscenes showing intact Jojamart) etc.
You can type "debug warp jojamart" to see any events that require that map to trigger but theres scrually two variants of the important ones here and snything youve missed is likely just a "flavor event". What youve mostly missed is Juliets Joja dialogue but you can catch that on the next playthough, hopefully, maybe.
I'm not even sure if this is something you could help with but i'm getting a small error with the Tree's at J&J's house (SDVE) https://imgur.com/a/DcEFwAa https://smapi.io/log/dead233943ac4f5d801d8066267804c7
Hello, I am just letting you and the other know. That on Spring 13 the egg festival Juliet from Juliet and Jessie the Joja Clerks and Susie from the Goldenglow share the same tile during the festival. Just something I noticed, and thought I would pass along to both of you.
I would like to say, i know its probably because they are 2 seperate mods and there is no way to account for it ,but having Jessie talk about Lexie and wonder, and the character not being able to say "I know Lexie, we are friends" or some variant, makes me sad, i wanted a happy meeting and left feeling like my character forgot he went shipwreck scavenging with Lexie the day before
Would you consider adding compatibility with the Pelican Valley Lofts mod? It would give Juliet and Jessie a place to live in a way automatically compatible with other mods that add new NPCs. There could be a toggle for whether they live in the lofts or stay in their current townhouse, for anyone who would prefer to keep the townhouse even if they have the lofts mod installed.
Also, in the mod's current state, there's a visual bug with UI Info Suite 2 where the Juliet and Jessie head icons appear on weird places on the map when it shows NPCs' current locations. I'm assuming this has something to do with how the townhouse area is integrated into the game, and something is preventing UI Info Suite 2 from seeing the townhouse area as its own location on the map. This being said, I'm not a programmer and have not examined the code itself—this is purely conjecture on my part.
No, I will not be adding compatibility to that mod as it does not fit the story I have written for either Jessie or Juliet. They will however be moving to East Scarp properly when I remaster it.
I haven't set the map up to appear on the overworld map, which is probably why it doesn't work with UI Info Suite.
Not really mod related comment but... what sort of dog is Gremlin supposed to be? I'm a little dog mad (my house has, at various points, contained up to eight dogs - mostly Cavaliers), and she reminds me of one of my favourite breeds - the papillon! Gremlin is also a perfect name for a papillon, if you're not going to call it Gizmo, anyway, so I wondered if that was the idea.
She's maybe not quite the right colour so... could be a cross breed? A Tibetan spaniel with very excitable ears? Or is she just randomly adorable? Please sate my curiosity.
Shes definitely got papillon in her, but small mixed breed is probably the most ive really aimed for, so your guess is as good as mine (probably better sonce you know dogs better!). My HC was she escaped from a puppy mill but i didn't put much detsil cos thats depressing.

Juliet has one so I thought Jessie would have one too
