    Configuration options:

    "PlayerGetsPregnant"
When true, the player will get pregnant in the marriage.
"Male" players can select this setting to see the birth events with the bachelors.

    "BabyorBaby_dark"
"Baby" (the default) uses the white baby sprite in birth events.
"Baby_dark" uses the brown baby sprite in birth events.

    "AdoptionEvents"
"On" means that the adoption events will trigger instead of the birth events.
"Off" means that birth events will trigger instead of adoption events.
NOTE: I have only written events for the first baby. There are only two events so far; I will write more ASAP!

If the birth or adoption events do not trigger, please do the following:
    1. Check that your "PlayerGetsPregnant" value is appropriate for your character and their spouse. (Note: there are no new events for same-sex couples at this time.)
    2. Ensure that the time constraints and locations are correct for the event to trigger.
For pregnancy events, you must enter the farmhouse between 6:10 AM and 2:00 AM.
Birth events should trigger at 6:00 AM in the farmhouse.
    3. If you've done all of the above and the events still do not trigger, please DM me or leave a comment here with the following information:
    -- Your spouse's name
    -- Your farmer's gender
-- Your SMAPI log (parsed through SMAPI's log parser

I have no idea what happened, and it was honestly pretty funny, but after I got the first "Congrats, you're pregnant!" event, the "Congrats you're pregnant again!" event immediately triggered.
Lance: Let's go home and tell baby the good news.
Me: Alas there is no baby at home, and now it looks like Harvey got stuck in the time vortex.

I'm not seeing any errors on SMAPI so I don't know what went down there.

It's a really wonderful mod! Even when it does time vortex the only town doctor.

Same issue here! My farmer is married to Astarion from Baldur's Village, and one night the "should we adopt?" question triggered. A bit weird as my farmer is female and can get pregnant, but okay. The following evening both pregnancy discoveries triggered, and when they ended, there still were no babies in the house.

Oh shoot, I thought I had already published the update that corrected this. I'll do that ASAP! Thanks for the comment!

Any idea how many nights went by after marriage and house upgrade for Astarion to ask?  I upgraded my house 30+ 'nights" ago (and married before that) and the "question" has yet to come up.

Hi! This mod doesn't affect when your spouse will ask you to have a child.

This is from the SDV wiki: You can have children only if you are married and have upgraded the Farmhouse for the second time which adds a nursery and an extra room. After you go to bed for the night, your spouse might ask (1/20 chance) if you want to have/adopt a child.

Hii, I downloaded the latest version and I'm having the same problem, the first and second pregnancy cutscenes trigger one after another the day after my spouse asks for having a child. I'm also using a custom NPC (Friendable Mr. Qi) and there are no errors in smapi log.

Hi there! First of all, love the mod so much, thank you so much! Second, I can't tell if I found a bug or if I'm just talented.
Context, friend and I play a modded file and I take on all the gathering and testing the mods. That's exactly what I was doing with Elliott.
Last night I trigger the "Do you want to have a baby?" only to find out this mod wasn't even in the folder. So obviously I fixed that.

Only thing is, this did trigger the first pregnancy event... on the second day of the pregnancy. Fast forward to now, I've opened and closed the file bunch of times since. I got the "The baby's coming? We better get you to the hospital!" and was confused when it just skipped to the next morning, baby in crib. Then I remembered what happened last night, reopened and immediately slept. Then the birth cutscene played the next day.

Given I've opened and closed the save file a bunch of times since last night, I have no idea if or how the SMAPI log may help, but nonetheless. This was after I got the scene to trigger: https://smapi.io/log/da7581139a43479698d20efcfda59b35

      Hi!
So, this doesn't sound like a bug. Because you added the file to your game a day after the pregnancy event should have played, you saw both events a day late. The birth event takes place 13 days after you see the pregnancy event, so if you saw the pregnancy event a day late, it would cause the birth event to trigger a day late as well.
I hope this makes sense. I don't think there's anything I can do on my end to fix this issue in the future... the mod is just a little wonky when you add it after you or your spouse are already pregnant.

Sounds good :) Just glad it worked, and even more glad I managed to figure it out.

Hi! I'm wondering, if i have an official version of the game on steam, would it work without issues?
In terms, wouldn't there be a problem with the ban in Steam because of mod?
And to start a mod, just press the "download" button? Will it be possible to deactivate the mod later?

I'm sorry and thank you in advance. I don't know anything about this and afraid of computers, but still want to download the mod  😔

Description say's you're working on another version to be compatible with Poly Sweet, with that be an optional file under this mod, or be a separate mod entirely?

It will be an optional file under this mod; I think it'll be easiest for me to keep everything together.

How long should I usually wait until the event triggers? It's been 5 days and I have yet to see anything. I'm married to Sophia from expanded if that answers anything

I completely forgot to publish the update to fix this; I'll try to do that tomorrow. Sorry about that!!

Your baby will appear in ~13 days, after the "the baby is coming, get to the hospital!" message.

So, when I saw that there was no baby I exited out the game without saving my progress. I saw that I didn't have the newest version of this mod installed so I downloaded it hoping that would fix it but when I started up the game to replay the same day again none of the cut scenes triggered, I even went on to the next day and nothing. I don't even know if I'm pregnant or not now lol.

Edit: Realized I forgot to delete the previous version from the mod folder. After I did the scene played out perfectly! Thank you for this awesome mod!

Edit 2: Pregnancy scene triggered but sadly the birth scene never did.

I was so scared until I saw the date for the last time this mod was updated--I'm so glad you're still working on this haha. I downloaded it a couple years ago but I don't think I ever got far enough to see it play out. I'll track it so I can download it when the same-sex couple events are released. I love the concept of this so much, and I can't wait to see future updates! :D

Os eventos antes do nascimento funcionaram. Mas, no momento do nascimento, o programa trava e fica com uma tela preta. Parece que preciso escolher o nome e o sexo do bebê, mas depois fica com uma tela preta.

I want to cry that I just now found this mod while my farmer is already pregnant! It looks like such an amazing mod. I will have to track it so I can download it later.

      Aww. :(
I'd love to eventually add a feature for players who are already pregnant... but that's not going to happen for a while.

I completely understand why, it makes sense that it would not be compatible with someone already pregnant since it covers all of pregnancy. Can I download it after this pregnancy and it still work for the next?

Yay! That's awesome. I'm glad I'll still be able to experience the mod. Thank you bunches.
